I think a combaticon team from movie figs could actually work pretty well. Prime as Onslaught would need some work. Losing the sleeper and scratch building a trailer to replace his feet should look about right. Brawl as Brawl stays unchanged. Wreckage as Swindle just needs a new paint-job. Same for Blackout as Vortex, or you could even get away with leaving him the stock blue-grey. But, who to use for Blast-off has me stumped. Was thinking starscream at first, but he'd be way to big with the others as a voyager. Guess it'd have to be something from another line. Maybe bash an energon starscream to look more movie like? Classics astrotrain is great size-wise, but…

i finally finished my obligatory MP "Matsushiro" Jetfire and he came out so much better than i was expecting. i finished off the process by sealing ALL details and decals w/ a clearmatte finish. he is now one of my favorite centerpieces next to my other MP transformers. and yes i think he can kick his old buddy starscream's a$$. i hope you enjoy the pics. Ok, been chatting with Ken at Transrepro. He said basicly if he got enough pre orders for heads he'd work out the cost of the mold making process. Now I don't wanna do anything that's unfair to him, so I still think $10 per head from how ever many of us can get us a-head and take care of the mold making. Question is, which head comes first??? Streak and Dead are the top two on my list. Followed by Tracks. Post if you want em (and will follow through sending Ken some fundage!)

Thanks to SkyQuake for the inspiration! After seeing his claw modification to Energon Omega Supreme, I started wanting to do the same (or, at least, similar) to mine.  Finally, I recently came across several of the Spider-man 2 Doc Ock "grabby claw" toys, and snagged two of 'em for KB purposes! :clap Here's my progress, thus far: The claw is attached to the Doc Ock arm via three screws around the plate at the back of the cuff. The claw is held onto the cuff with three screws in the claw plate. Once that was dismantled, I had to modify the cuff to fit properly on OS"s arm, without it looking too out of place and/or goofy. This demanded some cutting (…

Hi. The head was modded from the Trailbreaker head that he unfortunately came with. I used milliput and styrene then painted it in his G1 colors. Ebay link for those who care: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...E%3AIT&rd=1

New Member first post. I was messing around today with some of my RID collection and came up with this idea to make a defensor. I was bored and made one out of the Miniversions of Ultra Magnus, X-brawn, Scourge, etc... I decided to try it with the normal versions. I didn't have a helicopter so I just borrowed one from Armada (Cyclonus) Let me know what you think?? http://bellsouthpwp.net/w/e/welfordv/defensor

I am tempted to try and De-Kibblefy my Leader Prime. The First obvious target would be his Coat Tails/Back Wheels. Next his Sleaves/Cab. I think both of these could be removed in such a way that makes them easily and securely refasten during transformation. Anyone have any other suggestions? I think His backpack might be modifiable but, I don't know if its worth it to go that far. But, I am a pretty novice KB'er though, I do enjoy messing around with my figs once in a while. So, I am curious if any one else has already tried this or has suggestions on how. If I get the courage up to do it - I will post pics.

Ever since I've had Snarl posing with his decapitated head in hand, Voyager Bulkhead has just been sitting around as spare parts. :tflaugh I noticed that Bulkhead's hands are almost as big as the Leader version's, and I actually like them better. Articulated claws are much better than a buzz saw or a pinching gimmick. So while I was poking around in his forearms, I figured that the buzz saw's spring loaded piece could be altered into a launcher for the mace. I know I'll be able to do that, at least. But I also think his forearm is big enough (with some carving) to add a coiled spring and have the wrecking ball rapidly retract. (Think of one of those…
