Ok, been chatting with Ken at Transrepro.  He said basicly if he got enough pre orders for heads he'd work out the cost of the mold making process.  Now I don't wanna do anything that's unfair to him, so I still think $10 per head from how ever many of us can get us a-head and take care of the mold making.

 

Question is, which head comes first???

 

Streak and Dead are the top two on my list.  Followed by Tracks.

id be interested in tracks head dont know about the others id prob take a dead end to

so for right now, its going to be heads that already exist? or will it be customs too? Like perhaps a Megs, or even the custom that TFmaster was building on the previous head thread. If I had to pick from the three thats listed so far, I'd say Dead End and Tracks

Anime style Swindle & Dead End, as well as that Marlboor head being worked on, but why Tracks? The head is already close to the anime version. Is this talk for getting a version like the G1 version, mouthplate & all?

The obvious one to me would be Windcharger's proper head (aka what's currently resting on Decepticharge's shoulders).

I would say Tracks, why? well for one, for everyone that cant find the Alt version and doesnt want the BT, they can always buy a Tracks head and use it on Ravage. Black is the next best thing after blue :P

It's also a matter of needing heads for kitbashing.  It's a real pain to aquire an Alt for 20-30 bucks just to use the head, and I've seen plenty of threads on this board about people looking for Tracks' head, so that'd be a good choice.  Unless someone like TFMaster has custom-made heads for Transrepo to mold (like Marlboor Wheeljack, for now), this is about getting pre-existing Alternator heads made as extra/replacement parts.

 

As for myself, I can't say for sure what I need right now, but it'd probably be just Meister, but possibly Silverstreak as well. I'm pretty much covered for heads other than the fact I need specific ones customized.

I agree Tracks is the obvious choice since not everyone was as lucky as me to find the Alt Tracks figure and ppl could make their own with Ravage or Swerve. The other one that comes to my mind is Jazz`s head since he was another hard to find figure and the Shockwave mold with a different hand and a coat of black paint would make a great Richotchet or what ever you want to call the black G1 Jazz repaint. If requested I suppose I could lend him my Arcee head but I`d need it back of course.

As far as Alt heads already out there, I'd say Tracks an Miester.  Deadend would be a good choice if someone wanted to do a Sunstreaker, but since he's being released, I don't see the point to that one.

 

If it where custom heads.  I'd honestly like to get some repos made of the SilverStreak head I redid for Alt Skywarp.  I'd would like to make more seekers in the future and don't want to drop another $20 just for a head.

 

Other heads would be Hero Megatron's.  The perfect Megatron head and the right size for Alts.

First off let me say that I have been talking with Ken and we're talking about selling Alt heads but splitting the cost of materials ( The materials needed to make molds and resin) and selling them at my site (And he'll have dirrect links at his) and we'll split the profits 50/50. (I send the parts and make custom heads, split cost of materials and he makes the molds and castings.Sounds fair right?)

As for the mold making materials he and I still have to talk about that.(But then he might consider it evened out since I paid for all of the Hydrospan casting materials but then there's still reg casting materials)

 

Now, don't get your hopes up as not all of these will be reproduced except for M.Jack nothing else is definate.

 

(Also, before someone comments on Prowl and Skids, yes, I did buy the proto's because I'm a impatient man.)

Maybe A Alt Ravage head for those that would like a yellow version for the Yellow version BT Tracks?

 

Oh, and some custom blades for Alt Ravage....
