I don't usually post my stuff here, but I thought I might as well for once. Hope you guys like this. :tflaugh This is Galaxy Force Land Bullet in a color scheme based on Energon Doomlock, his name is Doom Bullet. His bio can be seen HERE along with my other recent recolors, I'll just let people browse my site and won't start a bunch of topics. :tftongue

  2. Started by JG220,

Hey, posted this at the Allspark but I didn't get a lot of replies so I thought I'd share it here too for you guys to see. This is based on G1 Pretender Finback, but isn't exact as I don't believe homages always have to be the exact same to be good. Basically I hoped Finback would be the figure's name when he came out in the U.S., but since it isn't I thought I might as well make my own. I like doing homages that people won't always think to do. His bio can be found HERE. Please let me know what you guys think. :tflaugh

  3. Started by Cheetimus Primal,

So yeah, why not?! This last one was before they were close to complete.

  4. Using a little modeling putty behind just in case, using my dremel, I carved out Optimus' face w/o his faceplate on. Then I took an x-acto knife and put his mouth on. Using some more model putty, I added the blue strips at the bottom of his chin and painted everything accordingly. Now he has a head for when he's not in battle.

i know he still needs a few small paint apps and my gundum hands are on their way, thanks jaf, but i decided to go ahead and post anyway. i wish he had a more movieish head, but the e. screamer head, thanks hunter, does a pretty good job i think but i may slap the classics 2.0 head on there later.

  7. Started by Jin Saotome,

Every time I looked at the Toys R Us Transformers Animated Arcee I was reminded that she looked nothing like the show's version, well aside from being pink and light grey. One thing that bugged me the most were the spikey elbows. I removed them by cutting diagonal across the elbow blade and mounting it to the windshield where it butted up against in her alt mode. With those gone she suddenly started looking much more feminine! Next came the removal of those weird shoulder pegs that she held on to in alt mode, painting in the missing light grey and pink sections, as well as black panel lines. I added inner ear sections and Reprolable.com's TFA symbols for a completed look …

  8. Started by Garage Mod,

I know I haven't been making too many Transformers customs these days but here's a fan favorite character that was just begging to be given a new form. It's Hooligan! The original Hooligan was a 'Cyberjet' G2 toy and about the size of the scout class. Here I took an Animated Sunstorm and created a Voyager sized one. The wings were cut, flipped, and trimmed to face the proper direction. I resculpted SS's face into the Boba Fett like visor that the original figure had for a faceplate and tried to get him as close to the G2 theme as I could with the black underside of the wings and stripes. However I didn't want to make one arm black so I went and made both missile launchers …

  10. Started by MACHWULF,

Prowl has always been one of my fave characters, as the logical, rational TF. His Animated incarnation has gone through more metamorphosis in translation than most other characters, but he's still cool & still Prowl. Prowl's deco was rather fitting; going from Police bike to a mech that resembled a bike-cop, and though I appreciate the novelty of it, it reminds me of those TF-GoBot characters. Prowl also gave many fans the impression he had no pants... :tflaugh In dying his legs & groin black, I mostly just sought to unify his cooler 'Ninja' deco / persona . Here's a few pics of the results.
