Upgrades

I'm sure a million people have already done this, but here's my Alternators Bluestreak: I decided not to go with the "two-tone" body b/c that went out with Jordache jeans and The Greatest American Hero. :D The only real work I had to do was replacing the wheels on his shoulders so they would match up with the rear wheels. Anyway, there it is.

I am planning on making a HiQ to go with my Energon Powermaster Prime. Right now I am having problems figuring out a base figure to make him from. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can use?

Here's the first part completed for my custom alternator. It's a double nozzle engine gun. From the pic, can you guess what car I'm using? :) More pics updated throughout the christmas break.

Hey peoples! My GF Starscream came in today and makes a wonderful addition to my Starscream Shrine. I'd like to further articulate his shoulders as that's the big weak point of the fig. I'll probably get around to that next month as I'm still working on the a new alt. mode for energon shockblast and a couple of other things which are my first KB attempts. Plus I'm leaving Saturday for Cyprus for 10 days (yay vacation!) Anyway, the point is I wanted to see if anyone had taken the fig apart yet or possibly even tried this mod so I'd know kinda what to expect in the way of little quirks or difficulties. I haven't studied the fig yet really. Help greatly apprecia…

Well, I finally finished the box for this guy. It took a while and i've been busy... but this week I should be able to crank out a few more. :D This is silverstreak repainted... couldn't think of a name, so i snagged a cool GIjoe name that fit the color scheme. enjoy!

Hey guys, I just finsihed this up the other night: Alternators Thrust . . . and I took a couple of quick pictures today. I plan to work more on this idea to make it up to scale with my other customs, in terms of collage composites, etc. (click my sig if you are curious as to what I am talking about). Constructive critisim is welcomed. I'll keep this thread updated with more things from this guy.

I was in the local BJ's and I saw a black convertible (top-down) Dodge Viper Alternator and I instantly thought of Dead End. The scale was a little larger, but the model was much more detailed than the traditional Binaltechs. It looked beautiful and I instantly thought of alerting the kitbashers out here. The car is $30-ish, though. A bit expensive for something to take apart.
