Easiest kitbash of all time

I'm sure a million people have already done this, but here's my Alternators Bluestreak:

I decided not to go with the "two-tone" body b/c that went out with Jordache jeans and The Greatest American Hero. :D

The only real work I had to do was replacing the wheels on his shoulders so they would match up with the rear wheels. Anyway, there it is.

Actually MH that is a new idea that I`ve not seen before. I`ve seen him repaint a million different ways but this simple kitbash seems to really work for Bluestreak.

Actually, I like the idea how all the blue parts will be concealed in alt mode. It is simple and it works.  :thumb

Now if you excuse me I have to take my Jordache jeans out of the washer and put them over my American Hero spandex pants.

not bad... nice and subtle... but i like the 2 tone from teh 80s :P

I did try putting the blue hood on him (after getting rid of the decals) but it just didn't look right. Maybe if it were black it would make more sense... but it'd still look like a ricer. bleah

Nice! I haven't seen anyone do that before, either! Simple but effective. Well done!

LOL!! You know I was thinking of doing the same thing?  Was looking for another ALT SHOCKWAVE to mix-n-match with ALT JAZZ.  Replace the hood with JAZZ's body hood and then the arms...not sure about replacing the bottom half yet only because I'm looking for more of a uniform look.  Were the wheels easy to dislodge and re-attach. (going to print out the Kitbash 101 thread tonight).  Excellent BLUESTREAK!

Believe it or not, I'm walking on air . Very nice L.M.H., but, what's on my mind is: WHAT ABOUT THE ALT-MODE??!!? :D Pictures man... pictures!

Again, good stuff. :thumb
