Upgrades

Well here's my remake of the Alt Steper I had done some time back. I redid him this time with an Alt Shockblast (Thanks to Los) and some extra meister parts I had ( Hand and head). I used Tamiya acrylics on him. I like the gold stripes effect better than the flames on his hood and body so I stuck with it. Enjoy!

so as I've been getting more comfortable with my skills I thought I would try 'em on trion. I've been working with it on the side off and on for a sometime now. I would pick him up while waiting for other projects to dry. He doesn't transform. not into anything cool anyway. but I didn't want it to. I've combined some gundam elements with some minor modifying of the original hasbro mold. the head came from Alyosha. I've been pretty busy lately and I won't have chance to paint it anytime soon. but if any digibashers wanna go at it I would love to see some renditions. ;) thanks for looking guys. wj

I`m no expert how ever this is what I`ve learned in the last couple of months all by trial and error.

what will be doomtron when i am done. he is a universe character that was recreated by from some of his more sucsessful heralds and sent to strike a deal with cobra to help eliminate the transformer threat before his arrival.

Hello All, I noticed that the fists on Wingsaber also were made to connect with the Optimus units (1-4) in the same way that Optimus' forarms do. So, I took liberties. Units 3 and 4 are merely standing on top of the Wingsaber legs. This allows Optimus to have a drill for a knee cap. I also found a way to "attatch" Energon Magnus (though this does make him more top heavy, and harder to balance. Yes, I know this makes his crotch super high, but this is still a functional, and unencumbering design. In both shots the figure is free standing.

I was watching the forum a while now. Now I decided to sign up and show some of my work. And the stuff I'm currently working at. Maybe some people have seen my work at another kitbasher's site. Finally finished my first ever kitbasht/repaint thingee. I know it's a completely unoriginal idea. I wasn't planning to change the world with this, I just saw someone elses pics of a similar project and thought "I want that toy!" When I saw some Armada Predacons for $19.95(New Zealand dollars) I decided to do it. As far as I know though I'm the first to use a G1 head. Sorry the pics aren't that great. I'm no photographer.
