    Just a thought

  2. Started by LoneDrifter,

Could you make a gesalt out of, like, 5 other gesalts? One limb would be Superion, another Brutricus, another Computron . . . etc.

  3. Started by Rawhide,

Vacation is finished and so, finally, is this repaint. Sad things is...with the end in sight, I actually regretted doing it. For two reasons: 1. This was going to be an entry for my own army of Robotmasters. But no more. I'll probably make another Dreadwind (out of RM:Smokesniper) some time in the future. Waste of a mold thus. 2. I've used Machine Wars Thundercracker for this, but recently found out that there was a better choice: RiD Skyfire. That one is already so close in colors (even closer because the upper arms/legs are purple instead of...well, whatever color this is exactly). Nevertheless, I present to you (RM) Dreadwind. Made from a Machine War…

  4. Started by Wikkid,

I just used photoshop and some cartoon screen caps to make a rough assembly. I plan to use .22 gauge steel and bend it to shape using a brake to give sharp lines. Styrene would work just as well but I do bodywork and prefer to fabricate with steel. These pieces are fairly straight forward. The original leg vents can be used in the chest panels as well. The transform is basic. The chest/window panels open as usual and the cockpit will be hinged at the upper body. The arms will flip up as shown and follow a modification I will later explain. There should be enough room to slip these around after the alteration. Some cutting is planned on the …

Hi everyone... :wave Some time ago, I asked fellow member Jaf to create a Masterpiece Megatron for me based on the Palisades Megatron Statue. It is still a work in progress... more details are needed like painting, etc. but you get the general idea. When I asked him to do this for me, I didn't realize how creative he truly is! (And we will try keep the topic of the 'price to build' to just Jaf and myself for now...) :tftongue Take a look: What do you all think so far? -Joe

Any one ever considered turning Sideswipe (BT02) Into Turbomaster Boss? I think the design is perfect for him and even the face is almost lke his, just needs a face plate. What do u guys think?

  7. Well, over the last year or so I've picked up a few Micromaster Hot Rod KO's off ebay, but they always came in completely garish colors. So I've always wanted to repaint 'em, but I'm absolutely horrible with paint. Reading someone else's post they mentioned that they had used permanent markers to touch things up, and yesterday being stranded at home, and having one of the KO's successfully dismantled, I decided to give it a go, and overall I'm very pleased with the results considering this was all done with Sharpie permanent markers :thumb Here's what I had to start with: And here's what I ended up with, using a red sharpie & silver sharpie, and reglu…

G1 colours Smokescreen shown after a hard days work. Looks like he got his ass kicked, but you should see the other guy. Scorch marks on a guys face makes him look uber macho :thumb It's not finished as I intend on having oil drip from his craw. Seen here are Smokescreens guts. It's not to clear but it features a circuit board, a capacitor, and some diodes.
