As some of you guys know from my "new customs" thread, I've been working on quite a few customs as of late. Here is the gallery to Alternators Overchage. He is a repaint of Alternators Windcharger. The paint is metallic blue (one that I mixed) and he exhibits a head mod from a mystery toy (can anyone guess which toy?). I loosely based this guy off of the e-Hobby Overcharge toy. I modded the head to match the e-Hobby toy somewhat and I also just thought the name was a neat play on words. Enjoy!

I am one of those who did not care for shockwave becoming a car. So I folded the classic door wing style up behind him under the roof of the car to give him less of a car look. I used a hinge from the mini-con that comes with armada starscream, only it was the yellow black version, and glued it to a ball joint in the door. I found that those cheap kid pearl necklaces that my daughter keeps breaking have the perfect balls to use for these joints and they already have the holes in them to insert pins. Here are some pics before I paint the joints so you can see it better.

Just a little Photoshop to make him more G1 accurate.... I never did like racing strips on the Meister mold. And I gave him a red license plate holder, too... it's not just a red rectangle. Tell me what you think.

This has been a long time coming, but now HiQ is complete. He is the Reverb from the Cybertron Minicon pack. Not much more to say about him, let me know what you think! Next up: Apex Bomber, or a surprise Transformer who no one cares for! (Big hint there)

Here is the gallery of my Alternators Springer custom. I can't go forward without saying that Guld's own Springer custom inspired me to create my own. In no way shape or form am I claiming the concept, just my own interpretation of it. I tried to change mine a bit, just to put my own claim on my creation, especially with the "Boss" decals. I also created the door mod so the doors can flip around and go behind his arms, just for added distinction between him and Grimlock and Wheeljack. Here is the gallery for my Alternators Hound. I've felt (like some of you) that Hound was a bit bland looking. I wanted to do something different than just a G1 recycle. A couple of years ago, I worked at a state park in the maintence dept., campground register, and the campground interim minister. I used the TN state seal on the doors (because that's what the park uses on all of their vehicle doors) and just played with the deco. Hound sports a decal set, an all blue light bar (the ranger vehicles at my park were all blue), and a brush guard kitbash from an old M.A.S.K vehicle (from the Firecracker pickup I believe).
