Upgrades

Sort of a weird idea of the two least likely characters to be made into Alternator / Binaltech customs. The images are credited on the pics... the Meister head came from TFKenkon, and the Hound one as well. The main Vivid Blue Prowl pic was also from TFKenkon; Swindle was from BWTF.com. (Ideally, the first one would have a winch on front; the second's sword weapon should be shorter.) Anyone interested in trying to make these real?...  ...Didn't think so...

I started it this weekend. I'm going to reshell Swindle with an F150 pickup. Can't have enough truck Alternators! :D I'm baseing it on my work truck for the most part. I work for a construction company so the homage factor actually works out and it still stays true to the Alternator story. It will be yellow with a black hood, some tool boxes, etc. Haven't decided on the head yet. Most likely I'll repo the one off Meister. I chose the Hound mold because I wanted the robot mode to look similar to my Inferno but I din't want Grapple to be a Jeep. Here's the work on the front clip. call me sad but i like my energon hotshot. i resently got my first alt, silverstreak and thought it would make a great hotshot. seeing as this is my first kitbash have a question about paint. whats the best paint to use to get the best finish? ill be posting pics as i go along. thanks

trying to recolor my alternator smoke screen what kinds of paint looks good n works well w/ the plastic...i have enamel paint but....looking for something better and not in a can... :tfgrin

Everyone's beloved mad scientist gets Alternator treatment. I always thought this would be a good repaint for the Scion mould. Some say Ironhide...I say Perceptor. He never gets much love anyway. First ups Alt pics. I left the gold dust and tint on the windows. Why? Because I like it.

I just got through editing some images of my toy cabinets and such from back home. I got a new digicam for Christmas and while I was home I took photos of all of my TFs and other toys in my bedroom (and my bedroom itself). You can see those galleries here. Of the first TF Cabinet, the top shelf has some Christmas lights behind black posterboard for a starry space effect as does the pre-movie G1 shelf below it. The G2-beyond shelf has rope Christmas lights on the shelves (which is glass). I want to make an alt Armada wheeljack out of alt prowl, but his roof has holes in it from the light bar. any suggestions on a cheap way to fill them?
