Upgrades

I recently got my house redone, and in the act of moving stuff around, I came across these. I built these back in 1999, and I was kinda going for the "End of the World/Mad Max" feel. Hope you all enjoy. This was the first one I made like this, right below is the counterpart to this one

First of all I must say the paint job is not very nicely done... I was trying to make the red chrome effect like the RM-10 and I must say its really difficult, esp when I wasnt using the proper paints... I sprayed over a coat of chrome paint as base color and then used CandyToneRed as the finishing color... because of the waxy chrome property, the CandyToneRed paint really peels off as easy as a fingernail scratch(thats my headache... :redface ).. okay enough complaining... here are the pix... Truck mode... alittle different...

Now this is just an idea at this point...but here is the deal. Even I dn't know if I want to do this... I keep making these Armada characters into Alternators. Eventually...the Autobots are gonna wanna know where their leader is... Do I, 1.) Use the original Alternators Optimus Prime as Armada Optimus Prime or 2.) Slightly Repaint Alternators Optimus Prime into Armada Optimus Prime Here is a photoshop to kinda give you guys an idea of what I would do...its not exact...cause I don't have Prime in hand yet... What do you guys think and why?

Can anyone do a digibash of E-Rodimus in the color scheme of the g2 hero prime. I needed for a project that I want to do and I want to see if I like the idea enough. If possible both car and bot modes would be appreciated. :thumb

Not much of a repaint, I know, but I decided to try the paint job of War Within Starscream on a spare Legends of Cybertron Starscream - but the only place around here that ever got the LoC's was the local Anime shop, and they only got one shipment of wave 1 and one of wave 2. Well, the other day, they suddenly got two wave 1 shipments in again, and I was just in time to pick up the last Starscream they had. I primed it with Krylon Fusion satin finish white, then mixed up a light wash of a medium grey to settle in the crack details. I then painted on the blue of the forearms, and the red and gold detailing. I even broke out the TINY brushes, and painted his eyes red. T…

pics coming soon, but here is what i did. I swapped the fins with HOt Shots, then i took the pipes from C-swerve (actually the original not the repaint i just couldn't think of his name :redface) clipped off the centemter or so, the one with the minicon like peg, and glued them onto the doors. I love it. The only thing i have left to do is attemp to paint :eek which scares me mightily. I'm currently hunting for 2 more AA batteries for the digicam then i 'll post some pictures :thumb

Can anyone tell me what I can use to make a one off mold, and what or were I can get ?? resin ??? I have 2 super armada primes one has lost its rad grill and chest part, so I like to copy it from the other prime... Can anyone pls help...
