Requesting a digibash

Recommended Posts

Can anyone do a digibash of E-Rodimus in the color scheme of the g2 hero prime. I needed for a project that I want to do and I want to see if I like the idea enough. If possible both car and bot modes would be appreciated. :thumb

I'll give it a shot. I'm actually going to use an image of Checkpoint, since it'll be easier to digipaint since it's mostly white :)

It's not really a digibash, but TM2 Dinobot at Transtopia made one.  I actually just saw it yesterday.  Awesome idea!  :clap

^ It looks erally good. I planned on keeping the rodimus head and not change it though.

well i have seen the pics to and i like it

I had this thought just last week, actually, after seeing Checkpoint KBed into Ultra Magnus on a Japanese site. HOWEVER, my plan would be to combine parts from a E. Checkpoint and an E. Rodimus.

If you can get it, molded plastic in a particular cover is better and more stable than paint and it's easier to remove decals than to add paint.

This is one reason I kinda like Hasbro's multiple repaints is that, if the mold is good, four or five recolors can make great kitbashing fodder.

Basically, take Checkpoint's feet, legs, armpegs and hands and mix with Rodimus' wrists, shoulders and torso. Toss on an Armada Supercon Prime head and from there, it's a matter of removing decals you don't want and adding the ones you do.

Also, the nice thing about KBing two repaints together is that if you're careful, you can end up with two figures. Not sure what the other one would be (red semi, white trailer?) but it could be a cool, original looking figure.

Just noticed you wanted the vehicle mode too.

This was bit more of a rush job.

The trailer is out of scale. Note that the actual grill would be lighter and the insignia would be at a less harsh angle.

Hey thanks for the pics, they're just what I needed, I can't believe I didn't see this before. :thumb
