My fourth scratchbuilt TF to date, although the other three were pretty pathetic compared to this. I posted more pics and information here http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=99518 so be sure to check that thread to see more pics and get some more information. I hate to direct people to another thread, but I posted lots of pics there. He's 7.5" from the ground to the top of the head and 9.5" from the ground to the top of the backpack. He is 90% styrene sheets / rods and 10% lego bionicle joints. I used both a thick plastic for the main body and thin plastic for key areas that needed to be flexible such as the tabs that hold the arm cannon ends on t…

So Walmart currently has a pretty nifty airbrush kit I was thinking of getting soon. It retails for about 60 CND and is distributed by Testors paints and whatnot. Looks like a fairly complete and decent kit though obviously not highend. Just wondering what some of you pro KBers use, and if this would be acceptable for a first time kitbasher. Thanks.

Well, I have some energon bots that I plan to repaint for a gestault... and can't decide. do I paint them up like my snow camo cybertron guys? Or paint them up black and white with purple and red accent or soemthing like that? I'm gonna use on of the bulldozers from the constructicons and take off the front bulldozer piece and add some sort of guns... but can't figure out what yet (gotta be cheap and eaily accessable). anyway, thoughts?

I have heard things about them that i choose not to risk.....maybe a kit that will allow me to make them on my own? Or a good idea on how to do it..... also is there any way that anyo…

This would seem like a totally random choice to articulate and yeah well it kind of is. Well anyway it's a work in progress. Already done is the elbows, head/neck, both legs, waist and one hand. Still needs to be beefed up so you can't see the joints and then on to painting. Also, there are a few things that need to be fixed, holes and such. Well check out the first picture....
