Upgrades

I found a digibashed Scion XB pickup on a custom auto site and G2 Motormouth/Ironhide mold came to mind. This is my very first kitbash and I'm taking small steps. So far, I've only cut the rear windows off to form part of the bed. http://www.tfu.info/1995/Autobot/Motormouth/motormouth.htm I still have to touchup the paint, decide on a head, cut the rear window off to form the tailgate and somehow fabricate the rest of the cab and bed covering. I've thought about hiding speakers, rocket launchers, a super engine or something under the cover. I would like to keep the tailgate in one piece rather than splitting it in half, but I may have limited options …

been wanting to pick up an ehobby Ultra Magnus, but the head throws me way off. I mean, sure Magnus has a Prime head at the core anyway, but it's too similar to the Scourge look... for me at least. initially i wanted something like the first few Magnus customs [ehobby Magnus with added G1 Magnus parts]. however, this recent Japanese custom [without the G1 Magnus parts] had just the look that i was after, all with just a headswap. Since I know nothing about sculpting from scratch, I was wondering if a Myclone Magnus head would work. i was thinking it might be too big. or would it? sadly I only have RiD Scourge and no Myclones to test the size against. I have no intention of doing this...I just thought it would be something you guys would want to see. I've heard many complaints in regards to why we got Nemesis Prime and Swindle instead of Trailbreaker. I'm happy we got what we got...but here is what I know many of you are gonna do. The head is very loose...you'd either have to fatten up that balljoint, or lower the socket, and make it smaller. The headpiece is from the Hasbro Reissue Hoist, and fits in the screw hole of the head with minimum effort. So, feel free to photoshop away, and have fun! Oh yeah, and I'd love to see what you guys come up with!

I'm not the type to post "teasers" or whatnot, but here's a quick picture of Energon Wheeljack and Cybertron Wheeljack, with the regular Alternators Wheeljack for comparison. Alright...so I have two Alternator Prowls here. One to keep, one to kitbash. (The next one I find goes to plowking...still lookin' man!) My idea basically is to turn Alternator Prowl into a stock milano red Acura RSX Type-S...which is the car that I own. I already know that he is going to look very similar to G1 Sideswipe...in the way he transforms, the color, and the head I have chosen (Alt Sideswipe) Here's a pic of my car right now...

Okay, before I fork out $60+ for a Binaltech alert, does anyone have pictures of Prowl and his head swapped? And does it look okay with out painting alert's Arms, chest, and legs? I'm not really wanitng to paint a $60+ Transformer, but swapping heads is nice and safe. And I noticed Reprolabes has a snazzy set of labes for a Prowl Red alert. Soooooo..... anyone have a few pictures?
