Just decided to try this out, see how it looks... and yannow, I can almost see it. I tried it on a pic from TFKenkon, and it looked even better - but itmight be rude to do that to a photo from someone else's gallery... Now I REALLY have to pick up another Armorhide to repaint him...

Having always wanted to incorporate the forgotten ranks of the unused pre TF's into the TF universe, I had an idea for the Dodge Magnum to take on the likeness of the original Microchange Magnum. I might actually work on this idea, but for now too much other things going on, as well as projects 1/2 done. so for now, I just have this to show...

i don't know if it was posted on this board to begin with but i am looking for an alternator shockwave figure. it was the one where someone went and kitbashed alternator shockblasts head and gun onto alternator grimlocks body. the guy even managed to do the figure justice when it comes to the generation 1 shockwave colorscheme he gave the figure. does anybody have any pictures of this shockwave kitbash because i am seriously thinking of doing this one myself

This is a Alt Dragstrip I just wrapped up using the shockblast mold and an extra Meister head I had. I sprayed him in testors model masters Chrysler Yellow and Black. While he isn't a direct homage I shaved off meisters horns and painted the head to match the cartoon dragstrip. Not much else to say so I hope you guys enjoy it! here he is:

I finished another custom last night and thought I'd give a little insight to my design process. Sometimes I get an idea of a character and go straight for it (my latest Soundblaster would be a pretty good example). This time the process was a bit different. Among other things I want to see (and I'll eventually make), I wanted a red Mustang. Variety is the spice of life too, and I thought I'd shake things up a bit. I set out designing a red Mustang, and this time, the bot mode/persona came later. I also love the Stunticons. As a kid, I'd say they were my favorite gestalt. My G1 Devestator broke as a kid (the connector on Hook mainly), so when the Stunticons cam…

I have easily been able to remove Alt Smokescreen's wheels without any damage to them using the soldering iron method. Here is my problem though. I cannot for the life of me remove the pins even by heating them and trying to remove them with plyers. The best I can do is have them rotate in place. Basically I am stuck with a Transformer on cinder blocks, in the Bronx. Not too cool. :tfpwn Any ideas on how I can replace my alloys? :tfhuh The original plan is to add rear disc brakes (done) and detail paint teh front ones(done), hence the wheel removal. (ever seen a rally car with no rear brakes? :tflaugh )

Well here he his. Been wanting to do this for some time now. With Plow Kings thumbs up I went for it. It's an Alt Wheeljack that I sprayed in two tone Testors Model Masters Sublime Green and testors Model masters flat black. I even got his stripes on the roof to wrinkle a bit to give it that homage to cybetron downshifts vinyl looking roof. Painted his engine to match and did his sword in flat black with a green stripe down the middle. I forgot to get it in the pic sorry. So without any delay here he his:

this a 8 in ko of the original rm01 seen right. i added extra articulation in the knees. i am still looking for the right head but atleast its normal height now. i added gundam hands and sanded down the side of his leggs to make his waiste look right. i have to look for the right grill to add. other than what you see i did a lot of finish sanding of manufactureing defects to make parts fit right. still a ways to go but adding the knees changed the figure so i figured i would show a sneak peek :tflaugh
