Still works in progress but the hardest parts are done and now onto the minor details and paint. Trust me when I say I know all that I got to do and that it all is in good hands. I hope you like these pre-finalized teasers as from this point on no picks will be updated untill it's finalized and Untill Botcon. For now, Enjoy!! TFM

  4. hi i'm new to this board. i've been checking out all the custom kitbashes and felt inspired to start my own. It's a BumbleBee alternator using a 1:24 scale kit with parts from smokesscreen. I want some feedback on how it looks and any comments about it.

  7. Started by a3.trion,

Just recently, Sam's Allspark shard props went into display last ComicCon USA. There were two prop sizes displayed. One was around 2.5" actual size prop. The second was a supersized, much more detailed version used for close-up shots. With them as reference I was able to make an accurate and extremely detailed Allspark Shard replica in actual 2.5" size but with the supersize detail. Its made of solid casted pewter metal. The carvings are chemically darkened to achieve its characteristic weathered finish (I used no paint). My most favorite part are the carving details. Its like it has been caterpillar chewed. I just love it. Hope you guys like it. ;) …

  9. Started by Valkfan,

I used a lambor head as a base and basically cut everything off and molded it by hand. This head is a three piece set so that the eyes can be hand painted conveniently. I'm not sure if anyone else dislikes the stock Lambor head like myself, but if so, maybe I can recast it for those interested.
