New custom Alternator Sideswipe head!

1 question how much would da new head cost if i was interested...

 

 

Originally, I thought $10 was a good price for my first Prototype due to the fact that not everything fit snug without some moderate sanding and because the head would come as a 3 piece set. After casting it, I decided that I still didn't like it enough. I made some corrections and have recasted it. Again, I see a few things I'm currently correcting. When I recast it for the third and hopefully last time it will need little to no sanding or modification and the helmet will come in black resin. I don't know how much this will cost me, so I don't have an exact figure for your question yet.

I did the same thing to the hood on my alt DE, but I'm still not happy with it. Working on a new and improved hood mod to see if I can give the legs full clearance.

one question i always wanted to ask hasbro is why all of the alts except prime have molded chins when they didn't in the original series

When you finish your improved hood mod, send me a PM and a pic so I can see what you've done. Also, did you do the ankle/front grill mod so that he doesn't need the Karate stance?

I've thought about this as well and I think there are a few reasons for this. First, many of the original toys had goatee's. Secondly, the cartoon followed the toys, so the real question is why did they drop them in the cartoon? Lastly, my friend cut the goatee off of Alt Silverstreak's face and it just doesn't look as bad ass as before his shave.

Well, I've recasted the head again and this is what I have. The mouth is a work in progress but other than that the head is pretty much done.

I forgot to mention this but, I'm thinking of recasting this head for the upcoming release of Classic Cliffjumper if there's enough interest. The head is a two piece set and would cost $10 shipping included within the lower 48. Also, the eyes won't be included. You'll have to use the Classic Cliffjumper eyes. For those interested, PM me with your request and if I can successfully recast this head I'll contact you.
