I think he will get an upgrade in the show, that's a good enough reason rite there. Look at what Hasbro did with Cyb SS. The supreme class SS was announced before SS even got big in the show.

Ever since he was first found, I've been searching all the Targets I could for Nemesis Prime. Today I decided to call around to see if he might have turned up anywhere. While looking at Target's website's store finder, I noticed something strange. Hidden in an area where I have driven by hundreds of times, but never stopped, was a Target! I called them up and gave a guy the DCPI (I think thats what it's called?) number for Nemesis Prime. He said that there wasn't any on the floor but he would check in the back. It just seems to me that die-cast tends to be more trouble than it's worth. A lot of figures I might really like are hampered by their die-cast parts. Looking at my Transformers with die-cast parts, I can only think of three or so that actually gain from die-cast. And I have a few dozen that are severely hampered by it. For example, my Binaltech Battle Ravage. I can't play with it or even transform it for fear of paint chipping. I really wish I just had an Alternators Battle Ravage so I wouldn't worry about this. Or even Masterpiece Prime. The massive amount of die-cast gives it an impressive heft, but it also makes it hard for his knees to hold any sort of bent pose. …

So, who is the best Cybertron repaint in the line so far? I have not included the Armada remolds or Dark Scorponok since they were not originally Cybertron toys.

I was looking at the TFormers gallery of a new japanese line of transformers. It seems to be older figures that have been retooled/remolded. There is one of (perhaps miniature) masterpiece optimus prime, and a small Starscream too. The Starscream is fairly show accurate and if done up biggie sized, with some tweeking, would make a cool masterpiece version. Take a look for yourself below: So what do ya'll think? As a completist I buy every new mold. So I got Cybetron Landmine when I saw him in the store this week. He did not look all that great in the packaging but I did not even look all that hard because I was happy to have found him. :clap He turned out to be a really cool toys despite the fact that construction vehicles have been done to death. So pictures really do not do a Transformer justice., When I saw pictures of Megatron, I loathed him but decided to give him the chance he deserved. Well he just got it and failed! I was just wondering other people's opinions on this. I picked up Masterpiece Skywarp and I really really love him. Only thing is he's essentially a leaderclass size figure without electronics. Did he really need to have a $60 price tag? The only other Masterpiece I have is Prime (the price of others kinda pushed me away from the others eventhough I do intend to get Grimlock.) Though I love the Masterpiece line why does it have to be so freakin expensive? I can get ROTF leaderclass Prime for half the price of Skywarp.
