I'm looking to get a Hot Rod reissue toy (since I had him as a kid), but I'm trying to decide whether to order the older "Rodimus Major" reissue or wait for the TM Hot Rod. It would be a great help if someone could help answer some questions. 1) Aside from the Targetmaster, are there any differences between the toys of Hod Rod and TM Hot Rod? 2) Will TM Hot Rod ever be released in the U.S., like as a TRU re-issue? 3) Is TM Hot Rod worth getting over the original Hot Rod? I'd be perfectly satisfied with the original design, but the TM may be easier to get ahold of. Also, please don't suggest just getting th eRodimus Prime toy, as I hate the design of it…

I think the HFTD Bludgeon toy has too much Samurai armor in bot mode to make a decent/passable G-2 Megatron toy. the G-2 huge green 1992 Megatron toy had a completly different robot mode design then HFTD Bludgeon's robot mode. their was no samurai armor on the G-2 megatron robot mode,nor any sword weapon. Also I think both HFTD Bludgeon & 1992 Huge green tank Megatron Have radically different robot designs on their bodies. HFTD Bludgeon is more wirery & rounded off in the robot mode parts & limbs. while 1992 G-2 megatron in robot mode is very boxy in parts & limbs

Not a big thing, but I thought I'd just mention it. When I was at Walmart today, they had CD Scattershot. I picked him up and took a look at him, and seeing as I aready have the Takara version I passed on him. I also noticed that the gold that is on the front of the missile launchers of the Takara version is missing from the Hasbro version. Personally I like the additonal gold more. Has anyone else noticed this?

The shelves that the TFs are on display are marked with a red "Clearence" banner and all figures are marked with a red price tag. All the figures seem to be half off (Didn't see any deluxes that were) Voyagers are now $10 and Ultras are $13 (this includes the TFA Shockwave and Sunstorm repaints) I'm sure they are doing this to remove their entire stock of figures to make way for the new ROTF line coming out later this week.

I realize the BT-01 came out in 2 versions... the #7 and the #8. Did the REMAKE of the BT-01 - ie, the BT-07 which I believe was simply the Smokescreen GT (also the same Impreza and paint job) ALSO come in out 2 versions - with the #1 and #2 on it??? So this Impreza has 4 different ones??? PS: Anyone have a good source to buy the BT-01 #8 version???

I see a lot of china-based alternator re-paints on eBay. Has anyone bought, or seen one? Is their quality the same as the offical alt line?

Can anyone tell me what (store) exclusives are coming out. I already know about the Starsream vs V. Prime. Also is Sams club or Cosco getting any of the exclusives?

Once upon a time I saw these alot at K-mart, Big Lots, and Family Dollar. Those retailers are known for having old stock and it's a hell of alot cheaper than eBay. Are these still on the shelves in your area.
