BinalTech Question

Recommended Posts

I realize the BT-01 came out in 2 versions... the #7 and the #8.

Did the REMAKE of the BT-01 - ie, the BT-07 which I believe was simply the Smokescreen GT (also the same Impreza and paint job) ALSO come in out 2 versions - with the #1 and #2 on it???

So this Impreza has 4 different ones???

PS: Anyone have a good source to buy the BT-01 #8 version???

I believe BT-07 only came out with one version.

It came in both versions. Checklist I thought I remember one of the #'s having 2 different sets of sponsor and driver decals, making 5 varients. Probably just my sketchy memory and there is only the 4.

Binalternators.de was a good source of alt and binaltech info. Its too bad the site isn't being hosted anymore, even though there's been no updates in quite a while.

it really wasnt a remake it had remolded parts that were from the next years rally car i think 03 was BT01 while BT07 was the 04 but it was mainly the front bumper and rear wing

There is a #1 and a #2. The other difference is the little piggy.

It's #7 and #8 as others have mentioned - aside from the pigs, there are also different drivers' names and country flags on the rear windows.

close. you missed the roof scoop and wheel changes as well.

so to answer the OP question there are 4 variants. #7, #8, #1 & #2

That is what I always thought. 3 total variets - 2 from BT-01 (#7 and #8) and 1 from BT-07. HOWEVER, i have 2 BT-07's - one is #1 and one is #2 on it. They also have different names on the window. I didn't see these listed out on the Binaltech page I have (http://www.TFormers.com/binaltech.php) even tho they list out the 2 variants of the BT-01. THAT is what got me so curious as to why I have 2 BT-07's.

Thanks.. some time ago I thought I had bought the 2 versions of the BT-01 - well it appears I have 2 versions of the BT-07 which is smokescreen GT. I didn't even realize there were 2 BT-07's. They are numbered #1 and #2.

I also have the BT-01 #7 - so it appears I am missing the BT-01 #8.

I just wanted to make sure I didn't have some kind of fluke, or that there were not additional ones out I am missing.

So in recap - there are 4 varients..

#7 and #8 - both smokescreen as the BT-01

#1 and #2 - both smokescreen GT as the BT-07

What is meant by the 03 and little piggies???

not sure but i cant belive no one has brought up how Smoke Screen GT has a huge f**king cannon on his shoulder and the regular BT didnt

What is meant by the 03 and little piggies???

BT-01 is based on the 2003 WRC rallycar. BT-07 is the 2004. So as well as diferent #'s, driver names on the back door windows and body diferences listed above, The sponsor decals on the cars are different too. One of them has a graphic of a pig face (One of the BT-07's?) that the alt version doesn't. Can't remember if its on the back near the licsence plate or the side bumper by one of the mirrors.
