I just bought a boxed G2 Japan TRF-10 Dreadwing, and I noticed a strange oddity concerning the Starscream toy. I think it is, or part of it is a Beast Wars Starscream toy instead. The Dreadwing is legit, however. I have not seen many pics from this line besides Battle Convoy, Hero Convoy and Hero Megatron, so I don't know what to look for. I am sure, however, that G2 Starscream DID NOT have a PREDACON symbol on his head!

Does anyone have pics of the Superlink Inferno toy? I'm thinking about using the Hasbro version to make it more show accurate, but if the Japanese version has the grayish parts already white, I'd prefer using it.

I have one for auction on eBay. It was given to me as a gift in '91 or '92. I received a question from a potential buyer regarding whether it was a Takara version or a knockoff. I just always assumed it was genuine, but I wouldn't want to sell something fake to someone. How can I tell? What should I look for? Does anyone know a good way to spot an original Optimus Prime figure vs a re-issue? I don't have the packaging but do have all accessories.

I got bored. Dual weilding is off the list for the reason that it technically doesn't favor a hand.

I scored this thing yesterday (with a bunch of the new SW Cantina wave figures). Apparently he hasn't hit too many parts of the country yet, so I thought I'd post my thoughts and some pics in case you're considering him. The vehicle mode is an excellent replica of the shuttle. Its clean lines really lend itself to becoming a Transformer. Naturally the prototype on the package is colored better, and paint is a bit sloppy in spots, but this is par for the Hasbro course these days. The shuttle holds together well, but is a bit floppy. Nothing pegs into place, but instead relies on the joint ratchets to keep it all copasetic. For the most part it works, but if you poke at…

I purchased this for $300 after it didnt sell on ebay for $400. It worth around $450 but the seller listed it wrong. It's an afa 85 cliffjumper. Problem is, it was never fully transformed at the factory than sealed to the bubble/card. The head was never transformerd up and is still inside the figure. The bubble is molded around the figure so it's impossible for the head to have just fallen down into the figure over time. Check out the pics and tell me what you think. Would this be considered a factory defect and possibly 1 of a kind making it more valuable?

I've hit a strange plateau. I’ve acquired almost every that I actually want. I have 90% of the G1 combiner’s which are my big part of what got me into collecting TFs. Just missing Dinoking, Guard City, Battle Gaia and the Dino cassette combiners. I’ve got my Fort Max complete minus Cog’s gun. I’ve picked up every BW figure I want minus Terrorsaur, and I have all the figures from the Energon Trilogy that I want. If I was a completeist I could go back and get all the figures I'm missing, but my collection is rather small because i only get figures i really like.
