http://cgi.ebay.com/Microman-DIACLONE-SOUN...1QQcmdZViewItem Take a sec to look at this, very carefully and figure out if its the real deal or a counterfit. Key things to look for. The BOX. 1. Is it in English or Japanese 2. Is there a Takara logo or even GIG? 3. Styrofoam, is the cassette slot made for just Rumble or is it for all 3? The Cassettes 1. Ravage have stripes on his tape window? 2. The Jackets say the right names? 3. Rumble had light blue chest and hands?

I covered most of Soundwaves oddities in the recent post about his counterfeit being on Ebay. The differences we did not see in Transformers include a headphone set with mic, the big difference with CASSETTE MAN etched in his tape deck, and of course that the tapes came with clear cases. Blaster had a couple surprises of his own. First off, we got a stripped down version of the original toy, the original had parts that made it an actual working radio were removed. This was achieved with the help of a AM receiver in the form of a black micro cassette. This cassette had a small headphone port located on its edge that would plug into a jack hidden inside the t…

What if there was no seperate cars, but rather a color change feature, like the RID boys? They keep using that theme over and over in the newer series, so maybe that applied to the old Diaclone cars as well. They run around, observing humans, and notice that police and ambulances get around faster, and people get out of the way. So with the push of a button, the car changes color, pops out police lights and goes into action! I don't recall any "Art" that shows 2 versions of one type in police mode and normal mode.

I just FINALLY got my hands on a Police car Sunstreaker from the Diaclone line. And am thrilled to be one step closer to completing my Diaclone collection. The police car had a few features that made it differ from the normal Sunstreaker. First off, the head. Instead of yellow eyes and vents, this one like the Red Diaclone version has red eyes and vents. The decals on mine are pretty good shape, only one missing is the one that fit on his mid section. I am not sure if there is a difference between the original Japanese Diacloner version and the European TraSformer version, but if there was a language thing, the sticker in the mid section might have told us…

Some say there is a similarity between Fortress X and Scorponok. Some believe that the idea for a Scorponok toy came from Diaclone, as the main base for a insecticon like armada. Power suit became the "Headmaster" in all its glory. And some believe that a Transformer designer was rummaging through some old Diaclone blueprints and such, while eating dinner at Red Lobster...ordering the lobster he decided to combine his favorite food and the Fortress X base into a cool new transformer. And since no one would take a fighting Lobster seriously, it became a Scorpion. At any rate Bringing this back from the insane... Sky Base was another semi base/vehicle…

I can now say that I have umpteen Diaclone cars...and 1/2. In a lot of toys I just got off ebay, I had a cursed surprise. BEHOLD the back 1/2 of a Diaclone Red Skids...in pretty good condition too. I will call him, HALF ARSE, and will leave it on my Diaclone shelf, back end showing with the trunk open. Anyone got the front 1/2

Hey, me again. I spent some time taking an old Diaclone catalog, and taking it a bit further to make a catalog of ALL the major variant listings. It ain't perfect but I like it. Put it to good use as a check list especially when friends or relatives might want to buy something. Had to shrink it way down

OK you guys seemed to be able to tell the difference between a Diakron and Diaclone toy... however... What is the difference between a Diaclone and the GiG licensed "Trasformer" line? And don't say the box.
