Someone emailed me a few weeks ago and offered me a Diaclone black Tracks. Now, if you know anything about Diaclone Tracks, you know the black one was thought to not even exist until a couple years ago. This is THE rarest Diaclone and one of the top 5 rarest TF-related toys if not the top 2. I am looking for SERIOUS buyers to make me offers on this piece. He's missing the launchers and missiles, and one door was broken off and re-glued, but other than that he's in decent shape. It pains me to see so many people selling those Italian "Trasformers" made by GIG as Diaclones. While its a pretty well debated if the toys are from old Takara Diaclone over-stock or not (Read Devvi's great write up on this HERE), they are not the same. There are several things that suck about them when compared to the real Japanses Diaclone releases. Here's a few: 1. Most of them do not come with a rider. I believe the Dinobots are some of the only ones that do include a rider. 2. The packaging and stickers are inferior. Some of the very early GIG figures have the Japanese sticker sheets, but later they were replaced with Italian ones. 3. The worst of a…

Welcome to what I hope will be a place to have lively discussions about the kinds of toys Takara, and other comapanies, were busy with before Hasbro came knocking on thier door. Even today, Takara celebrates the TF pre-history with some of its recent re-issues. If you have ever wondered what's up with Red Tracks, Silver Skids, or why did they make the Gold Jazz and Silver Smokescreen? There is a reason for them. The truth is out there.

Looks like some guys are showing off here So here is a pic of my Diaclone Blitzwing. Its got gold chrome on it. Firing rocket launchers, a pointy sword, and a kick ass color scheme. But be careful guys There is a fake one out there being sold as the real deal. Like the other day I saw a guy selling the fake ones empty box for $20! Be sure to look for Takara on the box or on its wing. If you want a real one.
