The time has come to look at the Transformers Studio Series '86 Ultra Magnus, dig deep and compare this big boy to not only the Earthrise but the Combiner Wars too, with the KBB KO of the Perfect Effect Core Fighter and X2Toys xt009 upgrades! This will be a beefy review!

Tonight on GotBot GOes Live, we delved into some new Transformers listings as well as Reactivate reveals. Plus, we cover items from YOLOPARK, comparisons between Maketoys Utopia and Vladivostok and even sticks, not to mention a lifetime of Peter Cullen! Finally, a quick round of trivia and this week's unboxing, leading directly to tomorrow's review!

Let's monkey around with the Transformers Studio Series Rise of the Beasts Optimus Primal (whom I may use as an Apelinq stand in)! I really wanted the Transwarp Key, but what a bot! He's great, but definitely not a real Leader class, but not enough less to be Voyager either. What a furry oddity he is!

This time of year leads many to hope and dream, Transformers fans are no different; so, as voted by fans, here are the top 10 hopes fans have for the Transformers brand in the next year!
-
I have spent some time reviewing many a KO Beast Wars offerings and saved the wildly unexpected best for last with, get this, of all characters, K-9...go figure!
-
Tonight on GotBot Goes Live, we updated the "Bunbles" listings and Siyang Culture Metroplex. I also talked about Ted Schwartz's Rodimus Prime and notes for threezero, Dr. Wu and E-Hobby. Finally, this week's trivia and unboxing!
-
Here's an oddball look at a KO Beast Wars T-Wrecks. I compare him to the original Megatron mold from the late 90's to see what was retained and what was lost. Even more odd is this character in fiction, I mean, leader of the "new" Dinobots...weird.

Collecting Transformers (or anything for that matter) is meant to be fun. However, as voted on by fans, we learn not everything about being collecting is sunshine and roses. These are the top 10 disadvantages to being a collector!
-
I look at the last of the Beast Wars Neo knock offs with the resident Maximal horse - Mach Kick! Dude is definitely a mixed bag and while recognizable, there sure were a few liberties taken with the interpretation of the original mold, lol.
-
Tonight on GotBot Goes Live we talked about all the reveals from Pusecon and MCM London. We also addressed news notes from DNA Design and Newage. Finally, we played trivia and did this week's unboxing!
-
Nothing quite says Happy Halloween like reliving some childhood cartoon trauma with Transformers Buzzworthy Bumblebee DEAD Prowl and Ironhide, along with comparisons with their "living" counterparts!
-
Seems fitting for Halloween, a time of scares and frights, that we look at the top 10 most cowardly transformers, as voted on by fans!
-
Though Transformers Earthspark Nightshade isn't quite perfect, I do find myself smitten with the wide range of articulation, the metallic emeral-esque paint and regal owl alt mode!
-
Tonight on GotBot Goes Live, we reacted to the TFCon reveals, and a couple other quick notes, Cang Toys and even the RED line. Plus, we note the W-Resources Metroplex price and address the 01 Studio Energon Unicron Cell repaint.
-
The Transformers Earthspark Stygimoloch is the chosen form for Terran Jawbreaker. While his first release is a warrior class, a bit of a simplified deluxe, the guy is actually very functional and at a lesser price than a deluxe to boot! Perfect? No, but the guy is fun!

Live large with the amassed voting results this week for the Top 10 Transformers titans!
-
Transformers Rise of the Beasts roars into Christmas with this Years Hallmark Keepsake ornament featuring the live-action movies for the first time in the line with Maximal leader Optimus Primal. As this is a tree ornament, there is no transformation or articulation, but the sculpt and paint is on point!
-
Tonight on GotBot Goes Live, we talked Transformers ONE rumors, the Bee/Starscream "Rise" 2-pack, as well as the other one slated to be released along side of it. We delved a little into Newage and threezero. As well, I offer a few notes on MOTU Turtles, G.I. Joe and SS 86 Magnus. Plus, this week's trivia and unboxing!
-
It's high time I look at the controversial matrix bearer named Nova Prime (or Prime Nova sometimes) from the Legacy Evolution line! I'll look at both who he is and how well the Galaxy Force Upgrade Optimus Prime mold has been adapted to him.
-
Some Transformers simply look better in alt mode than as any kind of robot. This week, fans voted and I amassed the results of the top 10 Transformers who look better in alt mode than as robots!
-
When I heard we were getting a new use of the Siege seeker mold as Nacelle I was ecstatic, since I adore that seeker mold, barnone. However, there was controversy about this as Nacelle is typically a red, white and blue Thrust. I submit that in this particular release, the Siege tetra jet mold actually matches better.
-
Tonight on GotBot Goes Live, we talked the release of Retro Perceptor and 40th anniversary Soundwave and Blaster. We delved into news for Fans Hobby and TFCon, Newage and even a clothing line! Finally, we played a round of trivia and I showed this week's pick-up!

Weather calls for Cloudcover...Legacy Evolution Toxitron Collection Cloudcover, that is. While this is another conehead, I do point out two QC issues, one is inconsequential and the other, while can be a hinderance, is also an easy fix!
-
Fans voted on the WORST Transformers voices this week, that being the worst cases of miscasting and mismatching a voice to the animation model. It just doesn't capture the character!
-
So, a Jazz by any other name is still smooth, right? Indeed, Transformers Legacy Evolution Toxitron Collection Laser Cycle, the unreleased G2 motrocycle Jazz, sure hopes that's the case!
