Beast Wars for life. Yes, G1 started it all and was fantastic for its time, but having watched the whole series again as an adult, it is obviously aimed at kids with only a handful of episodes that stand out. Post movie gets even worse. Beast Wars is the opposite, it is even better. The story continuity, the very different personalities of the characters, the interesting plot, and the G1 connections, it is so good. Graphics aside, it is still best written TF show. My second will have to be TF Animated. Very close in story quality and interesting characters.

To each their own i guess, but to say this is a step down and that the original toy is better is just crazy. I have the original toy and this MP is far superior in design, accuracy and proportions. And about the visible lion face on the inside, I agree it is a bit distracting, but the person taking the pics probably did that intentionally. It is just ridiculous to call and label this inferior to an older toy because of that. If we start mentioning the negatives on the original toy, the score would heavily favor the new MP

I have noticed it more on the plastic. The plastic feels more brittle and is more prone to stress marks. I first noticed it with the Transformers Prime line and confirmed it with Beast Hunters Optimus Prime voyager figure; it got stress mark just by putting the weapons on the corresponding peg holes. Armada and Energon line, even Animated still felt good quality. And don't get me started on the combiners from Combiner Wars; they can barely stand. I would have tried to get more of them but after completing Volcanicus, I was fed up and said no more. But again, the plastic has felt of lesser quality lately and some of the joints too loose in the more resent figures

I grew up with G1 and when I saw Beast Wars for the first time in a commercial, I was disgusted. But I gave it a try and it is the best stortline of any TF series. It also created my favorite TF, Optimal Optimus.

My favorite Transformers story. They better not mess it up if they do. Otherwise, I would be really sad... Keep Michael Bay away from it and put the guy who did Bumblebee in charge.

I think the ones who voted other like myself, are implying greed. I pre-ordered it because I collect all MPs and Optimus transforming figures, but that price is just greed. Though I will immediately cancel my Preorder if there is any type of issue with it.
