  1. Richard Sargent caught some well-deserved attention on Twitter when he shared a quick stop motion animation he put together featuring Ectotron. The animation starts with a classic scene of the Ecto-1 leaving the firehouse, which then blends incredibly seamlessly with a smooth transformation of the Ectotron toy to robot mode, who then turns and fires a proton stream at some unseen ghostly form that we would just as soon assume is Starscream. 2. User Killtok on the reddit Transformers board has shared photos of a loose copy of a Hot Shot redeco/retool of Hound, said to have been received from a friend in Asia. Hot Shot from the Hound mold has been expected since virtually the day Siege was first officially revealed thanks to a packaging art error. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  3. In Demand Toys posted to Facebook sharing a few pieces of new stock photography. These cover the upcoming Walmart exclusive 35th Anniversary Siege toys, which will reportedly be available in the UK between Kapow Toys and In Demand Toys themselves. These photos notably give us the first looks at the "cel shaded" decos of Optimus and Megatron on actual toys, rather than just renders, and the effect has turned out almost surprisingly well! The paint shading on Prime's windows and faceplate especially convey the idea well, and could easily have been enough for this style all on their own without the added paint deco on the arms and legs. 4. Dorksidetoys has shared some new stock photos for the upcoming Generations Selects Siege Smokescreen. Its release date draws nearer, with it expected to start shipping on or about October 1st at roughly the same time Bluestreak should become available for customers in the US via Walmart. The new photos show what we can presume to be a final colors and deco sample of the toy, which reveals some slight changes compared to earlier photos we saw. 5. It had been a pretty big question mark since its announcement, whether the $80 Commander Class would find a home on store shelves, or join Titan Class in its fate to become virtually online-exclusive in the US after we lost Toys R Us. The answer is a surprising one, as we've learned Walmarts are beginning to stock Jetfire! As of now we have two reports from Ohio, and one more in Alabama. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  6. Flame Toys have tweeted out some teaser photos for their Furai Model IDW Autobot Version Megatron model kit. They've gotten in some production samples at their offices, and have shared out a nice photo of the front panel of the box, showing off the nice art, plus a photo of the parts runners spread out to get a bit of a look at what will be going in to this Megatron figure when it comes time to get building. 7. Burger King's website has updated with their latest Kids Meal toy offerings, and once again it's a few weeks of Hasbro. While supplies last, kids - or their parents - or adult collectors, that's cool too - will be able to choose between either a My Little Pony or Transformers Cyberverse toy with each "King Jr" meal purchase. 8. "Cheetor grew up on the plains with one dream: to someday find the sea and wear a battleship as a coat." Thanks to Rewind - who was also the source of the above quote - we've got our first good look at Cyberverse Elite Class Spark Armor Cheetor. This figure may or may not actually be an exclusive to Target in the US, but it is definitely beginning to be available at a growing number of Target stores right now. 9. Thanks to YellowCorvette, we got to see some nice out of package photos of Bluestreak, coming exclusively to Walmarts in the US as part of a 35th Anniversary subline of Siege. This was apparently purchased from a hobby store in Malaysia, and isn't expected to have a release in the US until October. We've got closeups on the new shoulder cannon accessories, including their combined handheld blaster mode, and equipped to both the robot and vehicle. 11. Shortly after their first official reveal during a panel event at Unboxing Toy Convention, we've got promo images of four new Studio Series Deluxes thanks to Hasbro's Twitter. Revealed during the panel were Bumblebee based on the Concept Camaro body seen in the 2007 movie (and again with some revisions in Revenge of The Fallen) which features a battle-masked face to distinguish it from all the other Bumblebees. 13. Tonight via TTemploy who previously gave us accurate advanced info on Masterpiece Hound, we've got some probable details for Masterpiece Lio Convoy. The suggested retail price is clocking in at ¥20,000 - which is probably not counting the sales tax which jumps to 10% in October. Fortunately those of us getting this via import elsewhere in the world don't usually have to worry about that, and we can typically expect some of the online channels like Amazon Japan to offer a reduced retail price right from the start. 14. Universal Studios is getting ready to feature another exclusive Transformers in their store. Coming in the near future is a redeco of Studio Series Dark of The Moon Megatron in a new deco that resembles the movie Megatron mascot character that interacts with visitors. As popular as the performance of this iteration of Megatron has long been with park-goers, we can imagine that this might be a popular souvenir - even an after-the-fact one - for people who've had the chance to see Mascot Megatron in person. 15. Hasbro released official renders for many of the new reveal toys they had on display at SDCC - and they're all small enough to fit in your pockets! We've got promo images for Battlemasters Rung and Singe - Single flying under the radar for pretty much the whole event. But between this Firedrive redeco, and the Shrute Battlemaster in the Phantomstrike Squadron set, you'll be able to get both Targetmaster characters to go with Spinister!Along with them, there's images of Ratbat and Rumble, the second Soundwave Spy Patrol.
