  1. Keen observers focused more on reading product copy than quickness of purchasing shiny new merchandise didn't take long to discover something slightly off about the information on Hasbro Pulse's listing for Combat Megatron after it went up for order on Saturday. In the summary of contents near the bottom, it describes "Decepticon Red Wing figure" rather than "Combat Megatron" or similar. So, just what is a Decepticon Red Wing? Keep reading...
  2. The Transformers Facebook page has posted the publicity images for Transformers Siege items shown during the fan media presentation this afternoon at Toy Fair. Due to various sources and circumstances, we'd already seen virtually everything here prior to the start of the event today, but it doesn't take away from the fact that Hasbro brought out quite a bit of cool looking stuff to share with us. Keep reading...
  3. Coming to us from Amazon, we have our first looks at the stock promo renders for the wave 3 Battlemaster figures from Transformers Siege, Caliburst and Smashdown! Keep reading...
  4. Found on Twitter, and evidently originally via The Rock Father (though we haven't located the actual source so far), we've got our first look at the packaging for the Ectotron Transformers x Ghostbusters Collaboration figure revealed early this morning cojnciding with the relaunch of Hasbro Pulse. Keep reading...
  5. Marking the launch of a "Transformers Generations Collaborative" imprint, Hasbro Pulse has posted a preorder for Ectotron, a Transformer of the Ghostbusters' Ecto-1. Featuring a very accurate vehicle mode and a robot inspired by the look of a Ghostbusters uniform, this is crossover craziness at its finest. Listed at a price of $39.99, Ectotron is expected to ship in July. Keep reading...
  6. This morning, hasbropulse.com relaunched, opening its digital doors as the new retail space for Hasbro's leading brands. Kicking things off in style, they opened up with preorders for Transformers Siege Deluxe wave 2 at the staggeringly excellent promotional price of $9.99 each. Various other upcoming and current items were also available for either preorder or immediate purchase as of the site's launch this morning. Read more...
  7. Media support for Transformers Generations will continue, it seems! A tweet from @NXOnNetflix has revealed that Netflix will be running the animated series to be based on the current War For Cybertron trilogy storyline. The series will come in 2020, and is said to feature an "all-new animation style". Details are quite light at the moment, but it will reportedly be starting with an "origin story" presumably detailing the rise of Autobots and Decepticons and the beginnings of the war. Keep reading...
  8. Once again, Jtprime17 has managed to scrape up some extra images, after we shared the first stock photos of some upcoming Studio Series figures. Vehicle mode images are now available for Hightower, Drift, and Leader Optimus Prime. Keep reading...
  9. Following up on our earlier story, we've learned that Jtprime17 has managed to wring some additional stock images out for our Generations reveals from tonight. We now have helicopter and robot for Springer (no car mode image so far), tetrajet and two robot mode shots for Thundercracker, vehicle and robot for Red Alert, and a full set of Leader Optimus Prime's basic and augmented robot and vehicle modes. Keep reading...
  10. Recently, recurring source of retail inventory listings Mr. Chaos brought forth word that an entry for a Leader Class "WFC" Astrotrain had turned up. Unfortunately, the provided UPC number couldn't be independently verified. But separately, a listing on Southern Hobby Supply was found that appears to be for a third wave of Siege Leader class based on the displayed product code. This listing gives no specific information at all, but taken together there might possibly be something to this. Read more...
  11. The Walmart database has provided a few hits for upcoming Transformers Siege items. We've previously seen, by one means or another, Red Alert and Leader class Optimus Prime, based on Transformers Cybertron, but we now have new images for each giving us a clean look at Red Alert's robot mode (featuring an axe weapon made from the lightbar) and the base robot form of Leader Optimus. Brand new however are our first visuals for Voyagers Springer and Thundercracker! Read more...
  12. Will anything be left to actually debut at Toy Fair at this rate? By way of querying the Walmart inventory database, some initial images are now available for four more upcoming Studio Series toys. We in fact have been aware of the existence of each of these for some time, between online retailer listings and some leaked documents, but tonight we have our first visuals to go along with them. Read more...
  13. In the US, Amazon is currently accepting preorders for Siege Voyagers Thundercracker and Springer, who comprise Voyager wave 3. But there's a slight catch: Their product pages aren't accessible right now. So how can Amazon accept preorders? Through wishlists! Users that have these figures saved to a wishlist will find them available to order. And the good news is, it's possible to add both toys to a wishlist even without being able to visit their individual pages. Keep reading...
  14. Amazon Japan has put up their listing for MP-45 Bumblebee, the new heavily cartoon-faithful Masterpiece Bumblebee that has proven to be more than a little divisive among collectors. The product pages comes complete with a full load of product photos that show off a lot about this toy. We've seen some of the images here presented as slides during Winter Wonderfest last weekend, but this is our first chance to get a good look at much of it. Plus there's probably a few new bits in here too. Keep reading...
  15. We have our first look at stock images of Transformers Siege Brunt featuring production plastic colors and deco, from a new posting on Amazon Japan. The third, and sadly perhaps final Weaponizer mold for the Siege line is based on Trypticon's tank/tower component, and given a robot mode inspired by a Centurion robot design seen in an IDW comics story.
