  1. When it didn't come on Black Friday, or the subsequent Cyber Monday deals, we thought that Omega Supreme wasn't going to see a price reduction in time for holiday shopping, but Amazon has taken us by surprise again and put the latest Titan Class figure on a one-day deal for Saturday, December 7th. Customers on the US Amazon site can get Omega for $111. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  2. Coming along with a newly listed preorder, Previews World is bringing us our first look at some upcoming Studio Series Deluxes. Expected at retail on April 1, 2020, we've got jet mode Shatter and Jeep Bumblebee from the Bumblebee movie, and a guns-out Roadbuster from Dark of The Moon. Shatter and Bumblebee both look more true to their on-screen appearances than their earlier Studio Series toys thanks to the toy design having time to work with the visual tweaks the movie took on as it developed. 3. An initial product listing has gone up on Amazon Japan for Transformers Earthrise Ironworks, who'll be sold as ER-04 by TakaraTomy. The actual product page isn't viewable just yet, but Autobase Aichi was able to use the Amazon marketplace listing as a jumping off point to find some of the stock photos. 4. We've finally got a good look at MP-49 this morning. The Black Convoy redeco of MP-44 Optimus Prime ver. 3 has been initially listed on Amazon Japan, though only visible through their marketplace function at the moment. Despite that, Autobase Aichi was able to retrieve the stock photos from the listing. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  5. Black Friday was a sleeper for Amazon's US website when it came to Transformers, but that's apparently because they held everything back for Cyber Monday instead, including some of their Transformers Generations exclusives! Sadly, there's no price break this morning on Omega Supreme, but there's a healthy cross-section of sub-brands, and the deals are good for what they do have on offer! Prices are good while inventory lasts, or until the Cyber Monday sale ends, at 3:00AM Eastern Time on December 3rd, so don't take too long thinking about it if any of this stuff catches your interest! 6. Flame Toys recently announced Furai Action, a pre-finished version of their Furai Model offerings for people looking for a more standard action figure experience, or who otherwise can't devote the time to building and painting a model kit. Leading this new lineup is their IDW ver. Optimus Prime, a production sample of which has now been shown on the Flame Toys social media channels. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  7. Chinese website "Brick4.com" has product pages up for four different Transformers construction block kits, branded for the China-exclusive Transformers Nezha series. With the product images heavily featuring Hasbro and Transformers branding marks, these products are either legitimate, or incredibly brazen bootlegs. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  8. Following an initial teaser a few days ago that revealed its existence, we have our first look at MP-49 Black Convoy. To the surprise of no one, it's a black redeco of MP-44 Convoy/Optimus Prime Ver. 3, with teal and red accents. The image quality of this first look is mostly garbage, but is enough to give a basic sense of this upcoming Masterpiece. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  9. Loopaza on Facebook has scans up for the Transformers-relevant pages from this month's issue of Figure King Magazine. The highlight of this month's pages is a two page spread showing most of the first wave worth of Earthrise toys. We've patched together pages 102 and 103 to recreate the original presentation, so you can see the whole group together, minus a small empty space where a bit of the image didn't make it on to the printed pages. 10. Thanks to TonTon Review on Youtube, we have our first video review of Earthrise Optimus Prime. This main thing we get out of this is confirmation of what the production deco looks like, and the blue hands are here to stay! They're shown to share a glossy, metallic finish with the back half of the robot's head, which suggests either that both of these elements had to end up on a separate, different blue plastic tree together for reasons we cannot currently fathom, or it means both elements ended up on a different color sprue and have been comprehensively painted. 11. In Demand Toys on Facebook has posted a set of new stock images for Earthrise Leader class Optimus Prime. We get our first look here at the front and back of the packaging for the upcoming toy, plus a quick series of shots recreating some of the CG model promo shots with an actual production sample. This is bound to confuse things though, since these images show an Optimus Prime once again with grey hands and yellow eyes, while we recently saw leaked photos where the hands were once again blue, along with the eyes having been made a cartoon-inspired blue. 12. Mark another one off the list! Leader class Astrotrain has been spotted at a Walmart in Newburgh, Indiana by rattrap007 following on our first US sightings of Deluxe and Micromaster assortments from Siege's fifth and final wave.Astrotrain has been solicited as being in an assortment with a reship of Ultra Magnus. 13. Though it seems like barely any time since wave 4 began turning up at brick and mortar retail in the US, wave 5 is moving quickly to take its place. This afternoon we have reported sightings of both the Deluxe and Micromaster assortments for wave 5.The Deluxe assortment which brings Spinister and Crosshairs, plus a repacked earlier Deluxe or two, was spotted by Scypris at a Walmart in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 14. If you've been waiting for some of the final wave of Transformers Siege to start hitting retail, today's your day! Amazon in the US not only has Voyager class Apeface in stock for immediate shipping, but they've got it on sale for just $24.99 (plus applicable sales tax and shipping, of course) - $5 off regular retail! Especially if you're an Amazon Prime subscriber, it's a deal too good to pass up. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  15. The photographer that took this batch of images seems to have some sort of problem with elbow orientation, as Wheeljack's arms are arranged unnaturally as well. But not to worry - Cliffjumper is not stuck with inward-facing elbows. You can see in our photos from the Earthrise reveal event in New York last month that there are bicep and wrist swivels, allowing the elbows to bend forward normally. In fact in this photo (37 of 85 at the above link), Cliffjumper's right arm appears to have the forearm rotated around backwards! That 5mm socket ought to be facing outward. That means the only thing to have reservations about is size versus price. If you think about it, Cliffjumper is like a scale model of WFC Leader Class toys: A figure equal in size to the next price point down given a heavy serving of accessories to fill it out for the price point. Cliffjumper does obviously have a fair degree of additional design complexity compared to an actual POTP Legend, though. The ankle tilts and absence of ball joints aren't things you'd have found on a Legend, and while I haven't worked out all its tricks yet, the transformation also looks more involved. As long as Hasbro doesn't make a habit of this, and only uses this method sparingly to finish out the last few mini-vehicle characters that need updates, I think I'm willing to live with the price point tradeoff. I maybe slightly hate that I am willing to do so, but that's just the life I live...
