  1. A small batch of new product pages on Walmart's website is giving us our first info about some yet-to-be-revealed Studio Series toys. Unfortunately there are no images of the toys so far, but all of the new listings should be pretty familiar to movie series fans. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  2. A new video from TonTon Review is giving us a good, in-hand look at the upcoming Deluxe Studio Series Soundwave. Based on the Mercedes alt mode from Dark of The Moon, Soundwave may be a little bit small, but it looks like it's hitting all the right design notes. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  3. Officially revealed for the first time just last week at New York Comic Con, we have a piece of stock photography for Transformers Earthrise Starscream in box, giving us our first look at the packaging style for the second chapter of the Generations War For Cybertron series. 4. After a much longer campaign period than anyone expected to go through, and with only barely more than 24 hours remaining, it appears that Unicron has made it. As of 10:20pm Eastern Time, War For Cybertron Unicron has surpassed its minimum backer requirement of 8,000 to begin production. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  5. The Facebook page VectorSigma.LatAm has managed to uncover a product render revealing for the first time the robot mode of the new Wheeljack coming in Transformers Earthrise. While marred a bit by artifacts of sloppy conversion from PNG to JPG, we can see much of the robot which looks unsurprisingly classic cartoon styled. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  6. We've got some good screengrabs from the live panel presentation that wrapped up at new York Comic Con just a few minutes ago. The highlights of the presentation were the first look reveals of Earthrise Starscream, and the head of Titan Class Scorponok, the Deluxe Zarak. Zarak and Scorponok of course went unnamed, but just like each Titan teaser at NYCC, they made sure to bring something everyone would know. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  7. Thanks to a post on the Facebook page Transformers Overdrive, we've got an in hand image featuring Siege Astrotrain and Spinister. They're arranged to either side of Siege Voyager Optimus Prime to demonstrate the relative sizes of the new toys. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  8. Preceding the full reveal event that'll be happening during New York Comic Con later this week, IGN has been able to deliver the first look at some of the toys coming next year as part of War For Cybertron's second chapter: Earthrise.Previewed today are the Leader class Optimus Prime, which by all current signs seems to be a fully new mold, and does come with a classic-style trailer. 9. War For Cybertron Unicron has just about five days left to reach its backer requirement in order to proceed to production. This morning the project got a substantial boost, jumping a full thousand backers to nearly 6,800. The sudden boost should be the result of including at least some of the international orders received during the extension period. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  10. TakaraTomy Mall has opened up the first preorders for the third set of Generations Selects Seacons, completing the team with Overbite and Tentakil. This wave of figures is due to ship in late March for the customary price of ¥3,800 each (plus 10% sales tax for a total of ¥4,180 each) or as a pair for ¥7,600 (¥8,360 with tax). 11. The reissues of Noise and Graphy - or Noizu and Gurafi - were an amazing reveal during SDCC, being the first time since the 80s that the pair of formerly Japan-exclusive cassettes would be available again. Unfortunately, things haven't gone quite as smoothly as we may have hoped. We've heard reports now that Hasbro Pulse is canceling preorders for the set that have been waiting to be fulfilled ever since the (already delayed) release date of September 16th. 12. Loopaza has scans from the latest issue of Figure King Magazine, and while there were only two Transformers pages this month, it still made a pretty good show. The star is Apeface, who seems to actually be presented using previously-unseen photos! Amusingly, the specific angles chosen could very easily be interpreted as trying to cover up as much battle damage deco as possible, though that's probably just a coincidence. 13. On Youtube, we've got a new video featuring the Generations Selects Hot Shot, a redeco and retool of Siege Hound that's expected to go up for sale during the New York Comic Con weekend on participating online retailers. The video from chefatron shows the toy in both modes, gives a pretty good look at the new head sculpt based on the Transformers Cybertron Cybertron defense Hot Shot, and shows it side by side with Hound. 14. Southern Hobby has updated with new product listings for Transformers Generations giving us our first signs of what's coming our way in the second year of the War For Cybertron Trilogy! Several of the listings seem to be partly hidden, requiring some slight tricks to get any information to display - viewed directly they report "product not found", but then on viewing subsequent pages, show full product titles in a "recently viewed" column to the side. One that is directly viewable right now is Deluxe Wheeljack, who you may remember as having been among the fan vote choices from the poll run prior to the launch of Siege... 15. Syfy Wire has posted schedule information for panels happening at New York Comic Con on Thursday, October 3rd. Relevant to our interests, we have confirmation of Hasbro's Transformers brand panel along with its start time of 11:30am Eastern Time. The description is exciting for this one, as it promises Hasbro will unveil the new Transformers line, which most likely means our first look at War For Cybertron part 2, which will start in early 2020.
