Once again we have the BIG comparison guide from the ineffable, Cheem, showing us how the new Takara TOMY Transformers MP-5 Arcee measures up to the many other editions we have seen in recent years. Check out the guide comparing the 2010 Cartoon, MP-51 Arcee, Ocular Max PS-04 Azalea, FansToys FT-24 Rouge, Toyworld TW-M06 LEIA and the controversial Big Firebird Toys EX-01 NICEE. Sadly, the Takara TOMY edition isn't exactly taking any prizes in this pageant show. The sculpting on the MP-51 Arcee robot mode looks VERY strange with the angular elements on the torso that has a more mature look than I would like to see. However, it is the MP-51's Cybetronian vehicle mode that appears to take the lead in this contest. Not sure sure how much that makes up for the robot design, so we've posted a poll asking how do you like the MP-51 Arcee. Vote now to see how others rate this figure. Peeve: SCALPING - I can handle the availability issues. I don't mind a fair shot at retail, but knowing people are hoarding for profit really gets me mad.

Nothing says TGIF like ending the week and sitting down with the collection. However, this can lead to it's own collection of frustrations. Something that YouTuber, Tydirium hanger, has addressed with his news video, "Collector Frustration: Top 5 reasons Why". He's got some great points to share, and I am sure we all have our peeves to add. So let it rip in the comments about the question: What Frustrates You About Collecting Transformers?

Many thanks to group member, Brian Wagner, who let is know that he found the Transformers War For Cybertron Deluxe Earthrise figures at two different St Louis, Missouri Targets recently. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now

Nice!!! Your collection is Titanic ? Thanks for sharing. ?

Transformers Mold Wars! G1 Scorponok wasn't to scale either, FWIW.

WOW, sooooooooooooooo cool!

Scalping has become a kind of sport to get things first for the money and prestige. These guys RUN to the toy section when doors open. They scour everything they can re-sell: Hotwheels, Marvel, Star Wars, Transformers and anything hot like the Fortnight and LOL! stuff. They've even managed to get the stock clerks cell phone to find what's come in. I didn't see a SIEGE Wave 1 Optimus Prime on the shelf for 2 months after the street date, if that tells what we're up against around here. ?

I think you are right about the pricing, but I believe it is possible someone can get that much. IF distribution is regional, that many stores so close together should get their stock all at the same time. In my area, there are a half-dozen scalpers who are waiting outside stores to open EVERY DAY so they can grab all the new stuff. If anyone is doing that in Mesa, they've got an easy ride to clean out 3 Target stores. So the scalpers can cause a lot of pain in this regard. Its also not a given that everyone finding new stuff is posting it on Ebay for sale. ?
