I was never really fond of Rodimus, I like Hotrod okay, but he was just so stupid! He was such a crybaby "ooo I can't take the responsability, I was chosen by the matrix, destroyed Unicron, and Magnus makes all the leader-like decisions! Boo-hoo!" and he got turned back into hotrod like, what, 4 times before he figured out, "huh, maybe I should stop losing the matrix to decepticons and Zombies." And notice in season 4 he was back to hotrod, he sure as heck wasn't ready for the responsability, he was too much of a sissy.

If they make him less dim-witted he might not be so bad; I hope

Blackout looks like he'd be a Pred not a Decep, but, meh, so long as he's intimidating

But the idea of him being angsty or disengaged or what have you, I think that's pretty much the Rodimus Prime I knew from the olden days.

 

 

Yeah, I have no issues with that(him being the epitome of the the psuedo-teenage autobot per se), I just don't what a clone whiny farm boy ala Luke is all. Sari's hard enough to handle at times.
