I hope Rodimus has his regular sports car altmode instead of the Space Winnebago. I don't really have a problem with the SW per se but that version's already got a decent modern toy in the form of Titanium Rodimus. The only modern Hot Rod toys we've got have that engine block stuck in front of his face, which really kills his look.

I was gonna say the exact opposite. The only Rodimus toys that could fairly be considered "Rodimus Prime" are the G1 version (sh*tty), Energon Rodimus (great alt mode, sh*tty robot mode) and Titanium Rodimus, who's good for a Titanium (i.e. sh*tty for a non-Titanium). Meanwhile there's been G1 Hot Rod, the Targetmaster version, Micromaster Hot Rod, Classics Rodimus, 3" Titanium Rodimus, Alternators/Binaltech Rodimus, Robot Heroes Rodimus, even friggin' Evil Rodimus with a 'stache, not to mention the RiD and Cybertron homages he's gotten.

Teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeechnically the Alternators version is Rodimus Prime. Which, in my opinion, is the best Rodimus/Hot Rod figure of all time.

what

nothin just a bad joke

These look great (except Spittor), but I want an Animated Galvatron and Animated Tidal Wave. I'm glad they didn't change Strika, I hope that she's still an old war general when she shows up on the cartoon.

Derrick Wyatt did indeed refer to her as "General Strika" :win

I know! That filled me with joy.

:fail

I'm a fan of the space winnebago, or as it's otherwise known, a Cybertronian semi truck...

I'm a fan of openly flaming transformers.

What about nemesis flames?

You rang? robotmode.jpg

So why is she a Decepticon? My understanding was always that Obsidian and Strika were (while morally ambiguous) "good guys" before Megatron got ahold of them.

I think the simplest answer is "she was a bad guy on Beast Machines."
