i may be out of the loop but does anyone know why starscream is in universe packaging?

i like the idea of the G1 mini bots being legends, but i think maybe a scout size would have been perfect and would maybe solve some of the problems.

Starscream is being re-released in Geewun deco as part of the Universe 25th line.

All the Animated Legends class figures are coming out under Universe.

Because Universe is an all encompassing sub brand. As long as they have that 25th anniversary logo on that package they're going to make the most of all 25 years.

There's just no room on the pegs for Scouts any more. Stores are expected to carry three different deluxe series (Movie, Animated, Universe), Legends (Universe singles and Movie 2-packs), Activators, Bumper Battlers, Cyber Slammers, Fast Action Battler, and Robot Heroes. The space just isn't there to squeeze in new scouts too unless we're talking Target exclusives and we don't need more of those.

You do relise that we're probably going to get Outback because we all know how Hasbro likes repaints!

Primal's Guide to Getting CORRECTLY sized Brawn/Cosmos, etc

1/ Wait for either:

- Hasbro to release a bigger version of the same character later or

- Some knockoff company to make a BIGGER version of this toy and recolour it yourself.

Voila!

Gah! legends size class kills the nostalgia luv....

I'll wait on that...

See, I'm the exact opposite.

I had a G1 Brawn, he was about the same size. This is basically a more posable, more cartoon-accurate version of my G1 toy, which makes it that much more nostalgic for me.

The idea of making old mini-bots in this line is a no-brainer, I'm surprised they hadn't done it already since this line was basically trash toys for supermarket aisles up until now.

well, at least they painted his face. I'm SUPER glad hasbro is giving us these mini-bots in legends form rather then dlx. There's so many other HOT charaters out there, that its good to get a break on price for a cool character, AND they were always minibots anyways.

Brawn's a *WANT* imo

1-10 i would deffenitly give brawn a 9 the only problem is in vehicle mode where you can see his legs, i would give starscream a 3 he is inaccurate completely!

This reasoning is bazaar. For one, SS is more accurate wings wise then his voyager couterpoint. Maybe you mean the large toy accuracy? Becuase the show has this look more wings wise.

legends animated starscreams wings are way to high compaired to the show or the voyager toy!

I'm totally getting every Legends figure we've seen so far from the 25th Anniversary line. Each one costs less than lunch, you can't afford NOT to get them!

that's my philosophy on the "legends" figures too - it'd be RUDE to pass on any of them!
