I'll definitely get these guys, but immediately separate Ravage from Hound and never let them come together again. Massive fail of scale this time, yikes. Why would a little Jeeplet be driving around with a 6-foot-wide cassette on the back? :schin

um, seriously? You want a WST Ravage to go with Hound? That'd be awesome, on Opposite Day.

:tflaugh

When it comes to G1, I've lost all sense of scale

Can someone explain to me what's so awesome about this Ravage? I already own the G1 casette, and I'm really having a hard time figuring out how this is any better. It looks almost exactly the same, only with a smaller, bird-like head, no missiles, no die-cast parts, and no tape decals. Its alt mode doesn't even resemble a tape, outside of having two holes.

I'm sorry if this seems overly nitpicky, but I was expecting a lot from this one. What I see is even less impressive than its 30-yr old counterpart.

Oh man that Hound in both mode looks like a bad playskool toy. Not for me. Wish Ravage was separate.

Two wins in my book. I will get them if my funds can support it when they're released. :thumb

If the pics from Botcon can be trusted, the legs don't just fold down, as on the original, but rather the "hips" (I guess that's the word) separate out, away from the body, so that legs have some clearance between them, like a real animal would, giving him a much more realistic (and cartoon accurate) stance in cat mode.

That's a big improvement, as I see it. The "flatness" of ravage always bothered me. Who knows if it'll plan out as being cool once you have him in hand?

No, it's cool. That's a horrible pic.

It doesn't look like this from the front/back/top/bottom --> |

I'll take your word for it until I see the real thing. It looks just as flat in those (horrible) pics, but if it turns out better I'll pick one up and give the Nikelodeon green dune buggy to someone else.

if i wasn't stuck in animated i would pay up to 100$ for just him!
