Aw hell, I don't care about that. It's not like the original toy heads resembled anything other than a cardboard box. So I'm fine with a little artistic liberty.

Not because of the head, but because the Sideswipe mold... well, I don't want to use the words "blew chunks"... but I just did.

prime: i like the mould (pull the black tab out on the back if you don't want it to rotate dudes it does lock) but the colours ain't very different from the first release... i still want it though

 

megs: not a bad mould & the colours are cool so i want this one too

 

overkill: the mould sucks in robot mode (there i said it) but the colours look amazing & it's gotta stay in dino mode anyway so i definitely want to get this one

 

dragstrip: hey, the mirage mould rocks so they can paint it lemon chiffon for all i care WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT !!!

God, I'm such a sucker. Just spent $20 (with shipping and after coupon code) on Overkill, a figure that would only be $10 at retail on a card. Oh well...

 

Kinda funny, but we're actually getting most of the Decepticon tapes as either reissues, repaints, or new molds (though not always the same name) in just the past year or two:

Ratbat - Target comic two-pack

Overkill - Classics Grimlock repaint

Beastbox - High Score 100

Rumble - Alternators, Robot Heroes

 

I think that's everything not counting Energon and Cybertron, Botcon exclusives. or the Takara headphones of Rumble and Frenzy. Only Frenzy, Buzzsaw, and Slugfest seem to be getting neglected (unless you believe in RiBFiR).
