I don't really usually buy repaints/multiples, but I do have a couple.

 

Multiple wise I have four of the Loc Starscream. I remember they were on sale so I just scooped up a couple. I would have done the same for Sunstorm if I had actually been able to find him in stores.

 

Re-colors the only one I have en masse is the classics Prime mold. I have all the general release figs including Henkei Prime. Other then that I think the only other ones would be a few minicons.

 

My multiple army is pretty limited to the smaller figs with the exception of Classics Prime. Might end up getting another one. Mine has that O RLY thing going on. Stupid Hasbro QC

Repaint speaking, I have all 3 datsun cars.. I have 5 of the Seekers (missing Ramjet and Thrust because no one seems to care to re-issue those guys) .. I also have a bunch of TM Rattraps.. 3 of them. One of them being the Fox Kids varient.. I wanted the mold. Second one being the Beast Wars Metals, when I wanted the color scheme.. the 3rd was 10th Anni because of Transmutate.. :redface I also have a bunch of the original waspinator.. if you include buzzsaw in the mix, I have 1 original Waspinator.. 2 buzzsaws, one junker, 2 fox kids, one junker.. also the 10th Anni because it IS the superior Waspinator.. and if you want to include remolding, Diregun. I pretty much have every Waspinator in exsistance except the TAK 10th Anni.. and I make no point in getting that.

I was just in my TF room and noticed that I have like 5 of the Minicon street team. I recall buying it in Armada, then Cybertron, but dam those bulk lots!!!

 

Why can't the awesome Minicon Sea Team fall into mass gatherings like that!?!

As I started, certain names get a new figure and then some every year. I'm looking for that one version that keeps reoccuring. In terms of Optimus, I'd wonder how many Armada Bendy Primes would fit into this catagory.

 

Again, its about mold(including retool and redeco) not name.

I'm lame, I've never had more than 2 of the same mold at once.......wait, I'm lying. I own Alt Swerve, Tracks & B Ravage Also Sideswipe, Sunsteaker & Deadend.......oh yeah, Alt Meister, Shockwave & Bt Zoom Zoom.....crap Alt Swindle, Rollbar and Bt Hound. Man, that's alot of money.

the most i have of anything would be from energon, 5 divebombs, at least 4 of each gestalt limb, 3 skyblasts of varying colors, 4 strong arms. i think i've got 4 alternator meisters, 2 shockwaves, 2 rollbars, 2 swindles, 2 silverstreaks, 2 riccochets

 

i'm a repaint mark. if i like the mold i'll buy more than one just to show that a good design is worth a purchase but a great design is worth many.

I'm a mold whore too.. I've said many times that i'd rather have several colors of a figure i love than several different figures I only like somewhat. As for numbers..

 

the G1 Prime cab -if you count Ultra Magnus versions of the mold, as i display all of them in their small robot modes, clocking in at 11.

If you count retools, the Classic Seeker comes a close second as I own every version of that currently released (8) except Acid Storm who I simply havent seen yet.

Don't be fooled, those are retools. Alternators, awesome as they are, are probably the most whored out molds ever. 10 or so figures make pretty much the entire line. Change the head, give it a roof, slap on a new coat of paint, it's still basicly the same figure. It astounded me when the line was alive how many times they reissued.

how different is one car from any other really? # of doors, color, shape... thats about it.
