Who do you own the most?

Recommended Posts

OK, so alot of probably have a shelf or two full of Primes, Megatrons, StarScreams, Cheetors(he just won't go away), and so on...

I've recently gotten my 10th Scrapmetal(thanks Satan's Camaro), they make for good troops. I have multiples on alot of figures, I think I'm up to 7 Movie StarScreams(again, good troopers) maybe 9, and the list goes on...

So I'm wondering, baring this years Optimus, and Megatron and so on who get updated molds constantly, I'm wondering which actual figure, reguardless of new name or redeco did you just seem to acquire in bulk?

Feel free to share why, share pics, and so on.

Um... I think three of the same mold is my record. They're repaints/slight retools, but they're pretty much the same toy.

Micron Densetsu Megatron, Micron Densetsu Megatron - S, BotCon MegaZarak

RiD Megatron, CR Devil Gigatron, BotCon Deathsaurus

Other than that it's the occassional doubling up of a mold due to a repaint I like or want for a different reason than I brought the original toy (eg TM Optimus Primal/Apelinq, MD HotShot, MD Powerlinx HotShot).

I'm not usually one for the "new hat" phenomenon.

I'm with Haggis - I don't tend to double up on the same mold too much. I think the most I have might be Movie Barricade: I bought the original, and then another to superglue the punching action on so I could have more fun with him, and then I bought the Movie battle scene pack.

I have the '08 Bumblebee mold twice, again because of the original and then the more desirable movie battle scene pack...

:schin...I have Classics Starscream and Skywarp and Ramjet...not sure if that counts as three...

:schin...I have the Classics Prime and Ultra Magnus figures...

...yeah, my top is "3" with Barricade of any single mold.

Most of my multiples are not initialy intended as such, but after a ball gets rolling...

My thing with the Scrapmetals and the Energon Terrorcons for example is that they are suppose to be figures in mass. Outside of the first one I bought, the rest came from trade bulk lots and clearance.

The same goes for Movie Screamer, I bought the origional, then the G1 redeco, and 2 of the DS version. I never thought the figure was a good StarScream, but I do think it is otherwise a great assault trooper, and when DS went on clearance, it was easy fleet building.

I'm not usualy into doubles or repaints, but sometimes it does happen that you accumulate many of the same guy. I don't even know how I got 2 Cybertron Cannonball and Repugnus figures when I don't recall even buying them?

But thats not to say I should stop, I like armies, squadrons, and things of that such. With the newest Cybertron HotShot redeco out, I was initialy unintrested. Today however I was looking at HotShot and Excellion on the shelf and thought a third might actualy make for a nice placement driving team like I see all day long on the parkway.

Multiples, they happen!

Seekers, White Prime Magnus', Red BB CliffJumpers, outside of maybe a retool, are all the same figure, so yeah, count them up

ANy one mold? G1 Bumblebee. My original red, TV yellow, G2 gold, Keychain, Glyph, Keychain with Dan Gilvesan's autograph 8-D . Next is G1 Optimus Prime (cab) at 4 - 3 Primes & Ultra Magnus, then Hot Rod (original, Rodimus Major reissue and Japanese Targetmaster reissue) at three.

Not many. The Energon Bruticus limbs. Two sets of BM Overkill, one combined and one not. And Classics Starscream and Skywarp, because I got the former before the latter came in a two-pack.

I might have about one-and-a-half G1 Seekers, as well, somewhere, but I inherited those via family rather than buying them.

G1 seekers. Starscream, Thundercraker, and SkyWarp(of course). Originals, TRU reissues, working on Takara versions and an E-Hobby SkyWarp(damn those are expensive!!!!!).

I tend to frown on repaints. Some time's I pick them up if they are a purposeful repaint. Like BB to Cliffjumper, Seekers, or some other conversion to another character. But I see little point in Picking up Black Bumblebee with Go faster stripes.

got to be the classics Decepticon jets, it's quite difficult when you're trying to get some troops on that side, 5 in total, after that it's the subaru alt mould, smokescreen, silverstreak, a kitbash of silverstreak and then 2 KOs
