Universe Galvatron's third mode

I flip his feet up to get him to stand in a normal position. Also, I shaved away at the bottom of his cannon so it can swivel around the top of the turret halves.

To keep his R. Arm from conflicting with his backpack, I just flipped the backpack halves upside down and shoved them together (The flap the backpack halves pegged onto I left hanging). The little tabs at the back of the tank mode keep them from going together nicely, so, as you can see, I chopped one off (I'll chop the other one off sometime). They stay better this way than they did in the "official" transformation.

This image shows how I peg his turret into his tank mode. It make it off center, but the turret no longer sits at an odd angle and it doesn't conflict with any of the body anymore. Just fold the tank hinge like it shows in the picture then press down on the same joint that you press in when you transform his R. Arm.

EDIT: I'd show you what I did to fix the arm, but I don't want to pull it off. It took so much to get it back on after I fixed it. I'll tell you what I did, though. I super glued tricked the ball and I took some plastic shavings and I glued them onto the mouth of the cup so that it will GRIP the ball.

What I don't get is how his cannon is supposed to stay straight (i.e. lined up with his right arm) in robot mode. The cannon doesn't quite clear the turret on mine because of a little doohickey on the cannon that bumps up against a little doohickey on the turret. As a result, it forces it forward. Either that, or I don't close the turret halves all the way, which I don't like to do because I'm Ay-Nal.

Mine too. I just have it sitting at a slight angle and close the halves of the turret.

Or I'll just shave the turret like Yuyuyami did. :D

Mine doesn't have any backpack issues, and the right arm stays on okay as long as the cap is down. As for the turret in tank mode, I have no clue why they designed it like that. I either do it the same way you've been doing it, or have it hover a little above the hole in the center.

Thanks for the pictures and descriptions, though!

I was really happy when I figured out how to REALLY secure his turret.

Hm.

So, I just noticed that he can do the Roman/Nazi salute with his right hand. Who here can see him singing "Heil to myself!" :tflaugh

your all better off going to a collectable store and buying the japaneese e-hobby purple g1 :con galvatron

the e-hobby version was in G1 colours & the regular reissue was purple (yeah weird i know but hey i was happy getting the purple version cheaper)

is this what everyone was thinking of?

Ok, so the bottom of his legs keep popping off. I'm gonna need to find some REALLY small shavings to mix in with my super glue.
