While I DO love Galvy, I gotta say a lot of people won't like him. He is very much a mess to transform. Even worse than Titanium Megs because he's more complex and EVERYTHING pops off.

 

Still, he's nice when you get everything where it needs to be in both modes and I think he's still a great display piece so he's still aces in my book. I know people have their gripes, but I do not share them. At least not to the extent where I'll let it ruin the fun of the figure for me.

 

I'm on the fence about Galvy. Got any out of box pix?

I'd like to blame the movie bots for that artwork. What if Hasbro is assuming that people are now used to Transformers with prominent mechanical eyeballs? I think the box artwork would look better if the robots had plain visors and lenses.

yay...so now I have to spend all 30 of my dollars. Sunstreaker + Big Daddy + Galvatron = sad wallet.

hmm, i was just at mine yesterday and no signs of these... but will have to check back frequently.

I think they all have the same face... I'm noticing how their mouths and chins all seem to be remarkably similar.

 

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought they had the same faces.

 

Anyhow, geez. I can't get over how quick Hasbro is shoving this stuff out. It's like they're trying to make up for the dry spells in previous years or something.

Things usually take longer to float downstream to me, so maybe by then I’ll have more spending money. :emo

The Canadian cards all use Sunstreaker anyway, so the static robo-zombie look doesn't really both me.

Here's a thought on how fast Animated and Universe toys are coming out. What if Hasbro wants to get a lot of this stuff out of the way before the movie toys come out, which will probably start showing up in the late spring of 2009?

I myself managed to pick up Prowl, Sunstreaker and Tankor today at my local Walmart. No sign of the others yet though. But they did have a whole mess of the Robot Hero's Universe.

 

Also had Leader Animated Megatron and Leader Brawl.
