One Lockdown is enough for me.. He's not really that great of a character to me to go out and get another.. Prowl though? I'm definetly considering it. I already have the first run. I'm hoping he still comes with a ninja star though.. a second one would be totally awesome.

The sidecar armor will only replace the "traffic light flail" from the first release.

Personally I just wanna see Samurai Prowl out. It pains me to keep passing up the current one knowing there's a better Prowl on the horizon. Cuz I really want a friggin Prowl!

Dude, I'd consider getting the regular Prowl, too. I'm all jazzed for Samurai Prowl, and I hope he's 100% show accurate, but I fully expect him to be rocking some less show accurate paint aps...like he'll painted up like G1 Prowl or something.

 

I thought it had been sorta confirmed that Samurai Prowl has different paint apps. (I'd assume by whatever mechanism told us of the "flame job" on Lockdown.)

I don't recall any confirmation, other than to have been paying attention to the way Hasbro has done stuff in the past.

 

Although it's always possible that they consider this to be "Premium" Prowl and he's a spot on representation of the show model.

 

Still, glad I picked up the first version.

Anyway Lockdown sounds interesting but for me to buy it he better have one hell of a chainsaw attached.

 

Prowl sounds cool but I want original colors not some wanked up scheme.

 

May have to settle on the regular one.

Sorry to burst your collective bubble, but Sidecar Prowl WILL be different colors, NOT show accurate. AND the sidecar will NOT transform according to Hasbro at Botcon '08:

 

"Prowl with sidecar Armor toy, with new weapon, colors and fix hands. When asked, they revealed that Prowl with still be a deluxe and the sidecar will not transform."

Basically, if you want a show AKURIT Prowl, get the one that's available now. You don't want a G2'D up ghey-ass color scheme.
