Mountain View Wal-Mart had tank Unicron and the giant planet minicon team.  Earlier this week they had the Titanium Ultra Galactica, but no such luck today.  :redface

The Target on Whipple in Union City and the TRU in Newark both had Primus in stock (four at Target and six in Union City).  None appeared to have the Unicron head. 

Ya know, I really should just start preordering with BBTS and pay thier bullBlot prices.

 

I went to San Jose Walmart and Target today-- nada.

 

I even asked the guy in the electronics section at Target to look up thier stock situation because they only had 1 rollbar on the shelf and he said they should have had 5. Well, that to me sounded like they just got a box in which they hadn't put out and LO AND BEHOLD they had like 8 stockers working on JUST  putting out toys. So I accosted them and, 10 minutes later, after checking the back and the shelves again, thier assesment is that they didn't have any more than rollbar.

 

"Well, hell," I say "We should probably zero out that inventory number and get some more in huh?"

 

to which she replied "OH, NO! We can't do anything like that... we have to wait for the next inventory crew to come in in a couple of months to do that!"concerned look on her face>

 

Guess that means I wont be checking that store anymore.

 

In other news, I saw someone else in that isle, looking at the TFormers with a troubled look on his face.... philipino maybe? was that anyone here?

Sunnyvale Target had jack-all tonight too.

I didn't consider my personal well-being before purchase, no.  :tflaugh  I thought you had caved and ordered online like the rest of us at this point.

I treat this thread like a fish finder: It lets me know when to start hunting for the fish, and where they seem to be striking in the area.  But if I want to buy fish, I go to a fish market and pay the markup for someone else having found the fish and saved me the gas.  Otherwise, I'm looking for the thrill of finding the item and going "Holy cow!" and picking it up.

 

So, in short, if I see another one, I'll probably pick it up, but you should post in this thread if you actually do cave in and order one online, because I'm not interested in having an extra one.

I treat this thread like a fish finder: It lets me know when to start hunting for the fish, and where they seem to be striking in the area.  But if I want to buy fish, I go to a fish market and pay the markup for someone else having found the fish and saved me the gas.  Otherwise, I'm looking for the thrill of finding the item and going "Holy cow!" and picking it up.

 

So, in short, if I see another one, I'll probably pick it up, but you should post in this thread if you actually do cave in and order one online, because I'm not interested in having an extra one.

Thanks man. You rawk. Yeah, I'm totally about to crack, but I just can't bring myself to pay $30-40 for an Alt.. Did you? It's not really a pain for me to go to all the different stores as I'm one of those crazy traveling sales dudes, so I'm all over the bay everyday, but it's just the constant dissapointment and unknowledgeable/unhelpful employees that gets to me. I really really really want that rush you get when you haven't seen something that you really want and then all of the sudden it's there on the shelf right in front of you, and you just want to scream out in joy... but in all honesty, at this point I'm just scared I'll never own a Prime.

 

In retrospect, I'm sorry if that post sounded assumptive, but I figure a person can always bring something back next time they were going that way, so not too much burden. And yeah, I'll post if I get one.... or seven  :thumb
