i dont think so it is just who apparently got them first or something i know they are not tru exclusives.

And about Cybertron Megatron's arm cannon, i wanna talk about the sword gimmick. The way i see it in pics & the instructs', its UBER lame! I just swing the upper (when hung under arm) back srowd out & place in his hand & he can use it as a regular sword. The cannon still sticks out but it looks smoooth.

 

About Universe, i went to WM & Kmart last night & i only abducted wave 1 & 2 of Animated (minus V.Prime & Prowl) and all the movie bots. No Universe in my distrobution area yet. And we dont HAVE a toys'rus on that side of the state. :(

Modern is too strong a word. I feel like Armada was a step back from a lot of the original RiD molds in a lot of ways.

Well modern as far as the G1 aesthetic goes. I consider RiD, at least the original molds created for it, to be more along the lines of the BW look then the G1 look (save Prime and Magnus).

I have Armada Megs, Cyclonus, and Demolisher (well the Cybertron repaint of the mould) still sitting in my main collection, and I maintain they're pretty good toys. The rest of the line though? It sucked.

Hey, you forgot Tidal Wave...you gotta give the big guy some love (especially the cartoon accurate Japanese version)!

Totally, that's why there needs to be just as many Cons! No, I'm not biased...much...ok, I totally am, but that's besides the point! However, I've got a sneaky suspicion that as soon as this line starts to blossom...oops, here's the next movie, let's shut it down...AGAIN! :P

Well Universe Ravage will transform into a cassette that fits in G1 Soundwave's chest, so I'm holding out hope that a brand-new Soundwave figure is in the works that shares a chest size with the G1 version.

 

There are plenty of other 'Cons to draw from. Hopefully a few of them will get their due.

LOL, if Hasbro wanted to go for G1 show accuracy all they would have to do is release a few generic Classics Starscream repaints and countless Reflector figures.

WHAT??? This is the first I've heard of a Universe Ravage. Is it just going to be a repaint of the original or a new mold? I'm surprised it's going to be a cassette.

Oh please let Soundwave come next! Then I could sell ML SW...

Yep, Universe Hound (an upcoming Deluxe version, not the Legends version) will come with a brand-new Ravage. A completely new mold that still transforms into a cassette that will fit inside G1 Soundwave's chest. So here's hoping they release a new Soundwave on scale to the G1 version.
