I hope not. I had suggested that it might be Fastlane and Cloudraker (the G1 Autobot clones).

 

Hey I don't remember, who exactly were Fastlane Cloudraker? Other then clones.

 

And hey. Don't forget everyone. The corvette could be Hotrod. So far the Autobots named make up a little more than half of the '86 movie team. Bay could be using it for inspiration. Unicron couldd be a possible enemy too, FF2 pulled off Galactus, so it could be possible.

i remember from the making of extras from the first movie that they used a fast go-cart with cameras on it to chases bumblebee and barricade during their big chase scene.i wonder if maybe that might be the go-cart listed on the casting sheets since it is listed under "Spec Equip" with infared cameras,crane,and other equipment,and not under "VFX" with arcee,stinger,and ironhide.also if you blow the casting sheet image up,it says "construction earth mover".i didn't see anything about contructicon earth mover.

I agree on the theory of the go kart being a camera vehicle.

 

As for Jetfire...I thought I remembered someone saying way back when that there wouldn't be any flying Autobots. Maybe it was for Animated, I dunno. I would love to see him as a Blackbird, though. No other USAF jet would fit him.

 

I love the idea of the Vette. It fits G1 logic perfectly. Which means there's no way in hell that it's true.

Actually they pulled it off prefectly. If they showed galatus as an actual being, the huge guy as he is would have looked completly stupid. They showed him more as a force and it was great. What some people need to realise is, some things are just not feasable. They just wine and wine and....

I agree, a huge guy in a purple suit would have been ridiculous. The way they went about portraying Galactus, however, sucked.

The best way to do Galactus, or Unicron for that matter? Don't do them.

Faithful representations (huge guys in space) would be full of :fail and any attempt to do them differently would do injustice to the concept. Best to just leave the planet eating entities out all together. The concept just doesn't work in a live-action setting.

You mean like in the comics? You know how Shockwave used the creation matrix to make Jetfire and the Constructicons. Then they captured Jetfire and turned him good.
