Hot Shot? WHY?!?!? You got back the rights to the name Bumblebee, right? Doesn't that mean the bastardized placeholder and abomination known as Hot Shot should be locked away in a safe, never to be spoken of again?

 

I don't care if they improve on the Armada toy 100% (wouldn't be hard), he's still Hot Shot. Fans (and lets not kid ourselves, the 25th Ann. line is for the fans) won't buy him because he's Hot Shot*.

 

Hasbro, I understand you want to do a 25th Ann. figure for every incarnation of Transformers. That's cool. Couldn't you pick a better character though? Like Armada Megatron. Improve on that figure. Burn your plans for Hot Shot and we'll go back to pretending he never existed.

 

*Ok, I'll buy him if you give him a voice box that says "jaAm!", "WhY mY ShOuLdErS hUrT?", and "mY liFE iS PaIn." Also, I want a jaAm accessory.

 

Is it specifically a G1 rerelease, or could it be from any line?

 

If it's any line, I'm thinking it's probably the debut of Animated Omega Supreme.

 

Other, completely out of my ass guesses include:

 

The Classics 2.0 Ark playset.

An Animated or Classics combiner team.

A new more '86 movie accurate Unicron re-tool with Orson Welles sound chip.

A Sherman Dam battle two pack, with Prime/Megatron figures that have light up weapon hands.

Show accurate Classics 2.0 Reflector.

Hasbro Toy Store's new "Golden Lagoon" feature, turn any figure you order from their website into a Lucky Draw style glimmering nightmare and make it impervious to laser damage.

The '86 movie available with "dead and gray" Optimus Prime.

Thundercracker mosh pit. The fan that manages to walk away gets that blue jet guy for free.

All of which would have been better, even the TC mosh pit.

I'm not sure how they could improve all that much on the Titanium one. If that toy had come out 20 years ago instead of the horrible even by G1 standards POS figure he got back then, it woulda done a lot to mitigate the hatred towards him. :lol

 

But yeaargh. Hot Shot? Seriously? WTH? Hasbro's been just dumping win for about 2 years now, but HOT SHOT? They couldn't come up with something better than that for an aniversary figure? My mind is officially blown.

I doubt I'll be impressed but I'm sure the kids that are now teenagers will be uberly excited over this than girls/boys. :abrofl
