hey fellas,

I started work on this guy a while back but broke the original model kit. I ended up getting a new kit recently. here's a quick history of the progress so far. thanks for looking guys.

Looks promising :thumb

holy mother of god thats hot.

you know..i just had a crazy idea..i once saw in a magazine a pic of the annual Vw beetel jamboree in Germany.

One of the beetle looked just like him, but flame decals we applied...i dunno..maybe if you are good with photoshop..you counld..

nahh..

Ah, great stuff! The Bee is kicking it old school!

Oh man WJ. That's genius. I've been pondering the same sort of project and love the away you tucked the upper hood under the roof/chest. That really gives this jammy toon accurate legs.

Kudos, it's gonna be another hit I believe.

Thanks guys,

I'm gonna try to make it "show car" worthy in alt mode. JAF I can't take all the credit for this. anemis did something similar a while back. I'm really following his que.

I can't seem to find a porsche 924 for cliffjumper which is totally heartbreaking. any ideas?

I've been wanting to do this for MONTHS, but I lack the kitbashing skills. Looking great :D

:clap

yay this looks fantastic!

where do his doors go?

OUCH!!! BB looks trashed in that first shot!!! The final pic looks great. Do you have the specifics for that VW model? The size is perfect.

For CJ, I always thought he looked a little like the later Honda CRX Models from '89-'91. Might be able to find one of those that would work. Otherwise the new Classics mold works OK for CJ IMO.

Ditto, I was going to ask the same thing.
