Besides, didn't they use random G1 character designs to fill out group shots in Armada?

Yes, they did. Hornet's way off base.

The Pretender nods were just stylized, and as such they looked "off" when compared to the original design. Nothing more then that.

I'm pretty sure that the cameos from Armada were recolored and slightly modified to make them look more like the toys.

Holy crap, those monsters were totally Submarauder and Bomb-Burst, weren't they?

:awsum

Yeah - I couldn't remember which pretenders they were, but I knew they were pretender homages. LOL FAILED EXPERIMENT

Also, was anyone else bothered slightly by Ratchet's comment about the Dinobots ("Robot Dinosaurs? Impossible!")?

He fought them in "Blast From The Past".

I liked the eposode alot it was neat seeing the dinobots again

Tee hee, something lil ole me started is on the front page of TFormers... I feel so special right now. I'd like to thank My mom for always being there for me and of course Allah, through him all things are possible.

1/ Cannot hit "reply to this post" at TFormers.com. I have to go to TFans and post a reply instead. Why?

TFormers and TFans merged their posting system a few weeks back.

Now waits for Swoop proto to surface.

A freakn' morning star!!!!

Win/win

Are y'all sure that one homage was Bomb-Burst and not a headmaster homage to Fangry?

Also, was anyone else bothered slightly by Ratchet's comment about the Dinobots ("Robot Dinosaurs? Impossible!")?

He fought them in "Blast From The Past".

I think he thought it's impossible that they'd still be around, since he didn't know that Prowl and Bulkhead hid them away on Dinobot Island.
