You could use a pin of sorts, if you don't mind the hood being removed and attach the lense with a longer pin to go with the hood joints.

 

No, I dont want the car mode to be affected, the lense on his hood will destroy his look.

 

Or, he has a screw right between the 2 chest flaps, I could figure out a way to make a mount that can pop the lense on and off--the hood would just fold onto his back. You'd get the connector pieces holding the hood from chest to back up around his head, sure, but no loose pieces.

 

I'm more about this idea. I think is bad that other idea I gave of only attaching the middle lense to his stomach?

Id much prefer the Lense to remain detachable so as to not lose the transformation, and I think the chest would look better than the stomach but Im not real sure

Now just for some detail work and touch ups. And Windcharger version may get the Skids head swap.

Looks great. Only thing that might be missing is a 'con insignia but I got no idea where it would go. Looking forward to seeing how the Skids head goes
