Animated Supreme Prime, Leader Class Image Gallery

Recommended Posts

Next up are images of Supreme class Roll Out Command Optimus Prime (retailing at $49.99 and available in the fall), and the leader class ($39.99, June 22, 2008 followed by an additional wave in the Fall).

Supreme Prime is the largest incarnation ever of Optimus Prime. Equipped with “Auto-Spin Conversion Technology,†Roll Out Command Prime begins to morph from vehicle to robot as he rolls along the floor. The figure comes equipped with a moving mouth, sounds, and speech from the cartoon. Also included is a toy replica of the double-bladed power axe seen in the series.

The leader class figures have working lights and sounds and morph into cool vehicles. Featured characters in this assortment include Bulkhead, Megatron, and Ultra Magnus (not shown).

That's a great looking Megatron. It makes the Cybertron mode version look like crap.

Man, I love those! I'll have to get all 3, much to both my wife's and my wallet's chagrine.

While I'm no expert on G1 Megatron, I see a lot of him in this new Meg's robot mode, that seems like both quite a feat and a very nice touch. Leader Prime's arms seem kinda stubby, and I"m still waiting for a version that shows his alt mode rear half- I mean, he does have one in the cartoon, right? I'm not on the crack?

I especially like the the helicopter-blades to sword transformation. It actually comes across looking cool, much unlike G1 Springer :D

You could still be on crack but you are correct. On the show she has an optional attachment that turns him into a fire truck. I guess they haven't figured out what to do with it to make it worth adding to the toy, but it would be nice to have just one version of Prime with it.

All three of these look great! I'm going to pass on the other two Bulkheads for this one, he looks great!

Why does Bulkhead have a Galactus head in the Toyfair photos? :wtf

Wait, so is this Prime going to be even bigger than 20th Anniversary Prime, or do they just mean that it's the biggest Animated Prime that they're producing?

And I don't remember Bulkhead having that many guns. I hope they're removable so that he can have a more show-accurate look, since this is the version I'm likely to get due to the fact that he's closest to being in the right scale with the rest of the Autobots.

I'm kinda confused. Is there going to be a Leader class Prime or just this Supreme? So Earth mode Prime has a (battle damaged) Deluxe figure, a Voyager figure, and this auto-Transforming Supreme? Are they planning to throw a Leader class in there and cover all the bases?
