Is it worth? Actually, a friend o' mine is offering this MP-5 Megatron @ approx. US$135

Shall I go for it? And care to share informations and details regarding this MP Megatron, fellas?

I absolutely love this figure, I may have a bias towards Walther P38 Megatrons though. I think it was worth every dollar I spent. Since your friend has the figure, if you can, you should go check it out in person and see what you think of it yourself.

In one word? YES

In more than one? YES HE IS AMAZING... Nice poseability, verry fun transformation, satisfying in both modes(Who doesnt like giant guns? It looks like HellBoys backup gun!) cool extras too..

Personally, I'd sooner get an Encore Megatron or even Japanese Classics. MP Megs is too big for role-play and too big to really be in alt-mode with the other figures.

Of course, his robot mode looks absolutely amazing, especially with his ungodly amount of accessories.

MP Megatron IS Megatron. Nuff said.

The problem is, he's on the capital city of another island. And few hours ago, just called me via mobile phone and bragged all about Masterpieces he got, while I only interested on his MP Megatron.

So US$135 not too overpriced, rite?

Most online retailers sell him for $100 plus shipping. I've seen him as low as $80 online. I have no idea what shipping to Indonesia would likely be, or shipping from your friend to you (unless you were planning on picking it up in person). Check some websites to get an estimation on what shipping from them would be.

When I grabbed mine from Action-HQ during the initial release, I want to say the total with shipping was right around $125-135, so I don't think there's anything wrong with the price. So I don't know if that price is inclusive of shipping or if you were planning on meeting up with each other for the exchange..., but yeah, it's a must own figure.

For your reference, lately I spotted MP Megatron in one shopping mall in Jakarta at Rp. 1.3M (USD130). I got it first release form HLJ.com at Y12,200= USD100 (incl. shipping).

Price wise, I would say for the time being, that's the price for MP-05.

Figure wise, he's a great figure, but a bit fragile. I didn't ever thought someone could ever creat Megatron as MP (didn't know how to eliminate 'trigger crotch' as in G1 toy... :tflaugh

I'm planning on buying a MP Megatron soon.....

Question: Do they all come with the red tip on the barrel? Are they easy to pop off?
