I'm doing a Unicron Wallpaper and wanted to use this Unicron Symobl or "Hearld Of Unicron" symbol I've heard about. With doing a couple of serches I've only found the Anchent Autobot Faction!

 

I guess I could always make my own Unicron Icon, but I"d like to stay true!

 

Anyone out there have any ideas!

It's officially the Blentron (often mispelt as Blendtron) insignia - and the Blentrons were Heralds of Unicron, hence their Unicron-looking faction insignia. :)

reprolabels.com held a contest about a year ago to create your own faction symbols....

I remember the Armada MTMTE book (I know i know) showed the Unicron insignia as looking like a sun (its actually a yellow siluote of Unicron).

That's a matter of opinion, but when Chadsformer said "I guess I could always make my own Unicron Icon, but I"d like to stay true!" I presumed he meant that he wanted to stay true to official canon, which would be the Blentron insignia.

Point taken.

But think of it this way. Say I have a figure that for one reason or an other I want to align with Unicron. So that means covering up the 'Bot or 'Con insignia. If I wanted to stay true to cannon I would have to have one of the three official Unicorn emblems printed as stickers by a printing company. Or I could just order a sheet from Reprolabels.

 

I guess what I'm getting at is that something can be official, but that doesn't mean anything if it isn't widely recognized/available.

Not only does the Reprodlabels version look more like Unicron, it's easily available to anyone who wants it.
