I need your help fellow transfans...

Hello fellas. I need your help on this one.

I won an auction for g1 SkyLynx. Got it for $36 plus $8 shipping and handling. two days later, he's charging me $20 for shipping charges. Im not sure but I do know that PR is part of US territory, therefore regular USPS shipping charges apply.

My question is if the seller is trying to make extra profit from the shipping charges and if he is, what should I do?

Here's the link to the auction.

If shipping is the same for PR, then S/H should be kept at $8. That's a great deal for a Skylinx though, which is probably why he wanted to jack up the shipping because he thinks Skylinx is worth more than the winning bid.

You could either give him the extra money, or try to get him to lower it. The most you can do with getting him in trouble is leave bad feedback on ebay

If his auction flat-out stated $8 for shipping, and he's now trying to change it on you, you could report him to eBay for fraud...

I just sent an E-mail inquiring the seller about the shipping cost. I'm gonna wait to see what he has to say. BTW how do i report him to ebay just in case?

he probably isnt' aware that PR is part of US territory, and is making you pay for express shipping (which he states in his auction).

That's it right there. :pfx

He seems like a decent ebayer. Great feedback. You should ask him to go to the post office and have the package ready to see how much the actual shipping is. He should then email you back with the shipping, $8.00 is still to much for priority shipping. I think it wouldn't cost more than 6 bucks for shipping in the US. Communication is the key. Great find by the way.

Instead of answering, he just sent another invoice for the same amount. I will write again, but i still wonder what to do in case he doesn't answer...

Just let the guy know that USPS shipping is the same to PR as it is to anywhere else in the US, and you intend to pay $8.
