I dont think they were focusing on a real life accurate vehical mode, more of a show accurate toy, down to the last detail....

Yeah that's what i think....and what a job they did, just sweet.

For me, Prime is near perfection, but not perfection, because of a gripe I have concerning the final product.

I firmly believe that any gray plastic used in any Alternator/Binaltech and Prime, should be glossy silver, for that metallic look (like in the pictures on the back of the boxes). As is, the gray plastic on Prime's upper legs and waist look cheap and unfinished to me.

Masterpiece Prime's goal was an anime accurate robot mode. As thus, it's succeded. The truck had to suffer a little because of that, yes, though I think it looks pretty damn good myself. Hell, the thing has a damn working suspension! I actually like the fact they made the transformation complex to make his chest change to hide parts of the truck and proportions like it did in the toon. Plus... the original really is just "Stand up the truck."

I think the legs look a bit off in the truck mode, but other than that, he's great.

As for light up eyes, no thanks. I love how they did them with shiny paint, they look brilliant all the time, if they were lights, they would look dark and dead like Unicron's do when they aren't lit up.

That's a good point.

I'd change one thing about my 20th Anni Prime......Jeebus, he's a pain in the ass to transform. He's staying in robot form........!

SORRY, I MEAN SOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
