A few questions...

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I was wondering if you could answer a few questions for me, like....

1. How much can I expect to pay for a Movie Voyager Ironhide?

2. Is there a classics smokescreen? Because there's this thing on reprolabels (http://reprolabels.com/Classics/smokescreen.asp)

3. Does Titanium Soundwave's Laserbeak have little silver weapons?

4. Is Titanium Rodimus Prime's Transformation 100% bot? Like, does he need any parts to transform?

5. Same Question, except for Titanium Ultra Magnus?

6. How many things can I get those two for? (RP & UM)

7. Why is Ratbat so expensive?

8. Does the TRU Reissue Soundwave come with Ravage and Laserbeak?

9. Can I display G1 Laserbeak sitting on G1 Megatron's arm? :D

whoa...my bad about question 6...I mean how much can I expect to pay for Titanium Rodimus and UltraMagnus.

I might slightly modify megs and laserbeak's feet with some little removeable sticky things so I can sit him on his arm. It may not look cool, but I imagine it looks better than being stowed away in cassette mode between soundwave's boobs.

I'd just put Laserbeak on Soundwave's arms. He's got MUCH better articulation in both shoulders and elbows, and he'd stay better as well.

One more question: Are voyager Ironhides hard to find? I can't seem to find any. Where should I look?

Voyager Ironhide, like most of the earliest wave Voyagers, are pretty hard to find in stores at this point. The only voyagers I've seen in months are Rescue Ratchet, Megatron, Thundercracker, and on the very rare occasion, Optimus. Ironhide, Blackout (alone), Movie-Deco Ratchet, and Movie Deco Starscream are rather difficult to come by. I was actually out at K-Mart earlier today and saw a Voyager Ironhide, but they were charging almost $30 for him. **** that. K-mart tends to inflate prices by 30-50%.

Your best bet is probably ebay, sadly.

it's wierd...I didn't want any Movie transformers until recently, and now I can't find the ones I want. go figure. :-/

But if he's looking for Ironhide, the Best Buy figures won't really make a difference. I've not seen any of the early wave figures around since maybe early summer. The exception were at two K-marts. One where I saw the afformentioned Ironhide, and another where I saw a regular Ratchet and Starscream. They sat on the shelves for months, even though that particular K-mart was only charging about $24 for their Voyagers (why the inconsistency...?). Eventually I picked up the Starscream, because someone on this site was looking for one, and finally after however long, the Ratchet vanished as well.

one more question:

Robot Masters Mirage. Do the Robot Masters transform? Where can I get these things? Are they KOs? WTF?

one more question:

Robot Masters Mirage. Do the Robot Masters transform? Where can I get these things? Are they KOs? WTF?

Yes, RM figures transform. They are official Takara Transformers products, released in 2004-2005. Some were old molds and some were all-new molds.

You can usually still find them at any online store that carries imported (i.e. Japanese) Transformers. Robot Masters Mirage will usually be listed under "Robot Masters Rijie" or "Robot Masters Ligier."

Re: movie Ironhide - most of the early wave movie Voyager-sized toys have been reshipping lately, but they tend to sell out quickly. I've seen all four (Ironhide, Starscream, Rachet and Blackout) recently at retail - you'll just have to keep an eye peeled.

Alternatively, as others have mentioned, check stores that tend to have slower distribution and slightly higher retail prices (like Kmart) and you might get lucky. I'd also suggest Mervyns - last time I was in one of those about six weeks ago, they were sitting on tons of the early wave movie Voyagers (I've never seen them in Kohls, so don't bother going there).
