Painting EMERGENCY!

HELP and stuff..

My neighbor was kind enough to come knock on my door the other night to inform me that some of the paint I've been spraying has made it's way over onto her car. Even though there is orange paint on it, which I've never used, there is some very light blue on her black Cobalt. I need to clean it off. Without ruining her actual paint. Does anyone know a good way to go about this? What I need to buy, or where I can take it that won't kill the last few dollars I have?

I use Krylon paint. It's only in very small misted particals on the paint, which you have to bury your nose in to see, but it is there. Is there some remover, thinner, brush, pad something I can buy for this?

It's a newer leased car. Pretty well maintained...some scratches though in her paint here and there..It's maybe a year or two or so..So a couple winters of salting on it, etc..It's not shiney. But close.

If she would have decent wax on the car, all you would have to do is use a good detergent cleaner to strip the wax and anything on said wax. I'm going to keep on this one though, I can't remember what, but I know there's a relatively easy remedy for this.

Here's a site for you to check out.

Possible Help?

Thanks..Any help would be really appreciated:)

a non- abbrasive buffer might work too.

How do you manage to get paint from your house all the way over to her car?

Supposedly high wings going in the OTHER direction took paint that I was spraying at the figures under a porch over hand hood, went into the air, and made it's way over to her car. But I can't argue the point, as I have painted out there previously.

yea, i did the same thing... but it was white, and it landed on my card... 04 WRX... :( but it's only on the weather stripping... it came off the car with a good wash and elbow grease ;)

claybar removes paint. You spray something on (soapy water in a random spray bottle works better than the "real" stuff to lubricate a claybar). Then you just clay off the overspray. I got to do this to my car after the building next to my downtown parking structure was painted. That SUCKED.

note: must claybar a CLEAN car. Wash it first.
